According to ESPN he actually 6-putted, so that's alright then! It could have been worse. The Masters live scoring had it listed as a 10 all day, until officials conferred, reviewed videotape and determined that Els had taken just six putts, instead of seven. He finished with an 8-over-par 80 and is tied for 81st.
One of the best tournaments I've seen for a while this, a joy watching Spieth and Mcilroy going round together
They asked Montogomery or someone how a 12 handicapper would do at Augusta. He said they'd 3 putt half of the greens and 4 putt the rest. They do say the Masters doesn't start until Hole 12 on the final day though.
Her indoors has just asked why they don't make the 'sandpits' in the shape of animals. I kid you not.
My Mum bless her watching the racing once said as the prices for the race came up 'that BAR runs a lot!!!' You couldn't make it up..
Spieth facing his first major test today on the final round, just hit one close to out of bounds. Nobody really pressurising him too much so he could be gifted this tournament. A couple of holes in one today to liven things up!
You make your own luck of course, but he's a lucky bar steward Speith… and he's a miserable **** too…
Anyone else bored of hearing fatso Monty bang on about how tough a course it is to play? Every ****ing hole.
Get in there, a Yorkshireman wins the Masters! Hope I haven't tempted fate there but surely Spieth can't get 2 birdies here
Has there ever been a Yorkshireman ever to win a major before today ? I'm not including tennis btw (Roger Taylor won a couple of US open men's doubles titles in the 70's.
