They could announce Janis Joplin sharing a bill with Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Fats Domino, but it still wouldn't compensate for having to spend three days in a field surrounded by middle managers called Miles pretending to be hippies, rastafarian public schoolboys playing didgeridoos outside their tents, spiritual healers from Chilworth, and the occasional hardcore 60s dropout claiming to be a direct descendent of Gandalf.
Football is indeed football - I read a little while ago that a season ticket at Bayern Munich is just over GBP100 and at Barcelona you can get a season ticket cheaper than that. Add to which you can buy a match day ticket at BM for just over GBP11... so I am not sure we have such a good handle in English football for looking after our fans - especially given the revenue generated from televising matches around the globe.
