He is scary. I keep looking at him and thinking he is so relaxed in how he travels that one day he could win a King George. There's a tiny bit of Kauto about him -dare I say it(remember he started at 2 miles!).

    Just a fantastic engine.

Yeah he's just the perfect racehorse. I'd still very much be thinking he's Champion Chase material as opposed to stepping him up anytime soon. And of course they've Vautour in mind for the 3m races.

They say Phil Smith has him perched on 190+ (190 true, the '+' to be determined to satisfy the xenophobia criteria) after Gods Own yesterday... <whistle>

Love regional variations :) Others side of the pennines and probably everywhere else too, a teacake has currants in it! Bap, yes, but in Bolton, would be known as a flour cake! Either way sounds tasty enough as long as there are no currants :D

Your probably not far off given his excellent handicapping of some really average animals in the past <ok>

Sadly they won't .... new owners have just taking over the debt to avoid administration, nothing available for rebuilds. But we had 11 seasons in the Prem, that I'm glad I witnessed :)

What a great story for national hunt, a dairy farmer has the two best horses in training this year. Roll on punchestown, the Irish will know him this year

Fair point. Apparently there were meetings down darkened country lanes and behind old silo sheds for weeks leading up to it. Operation Scud they called it.
