Sorry if I've touched a raw nerve, but I think Brisbane Tiger was curious to know how you are able to come up with a list of players virtually no one has heard of. You know, how you became 'aware of' them. I imagine he was expecting an answer such as: - "I've seen them all on various occasions so know their strengths." - " I've read about them on magazines or websites, even though I've yet to see them play." -" I am a scout/ agent" ...or something along those lines. Over to you. Or not if you don't want to reveal it.
El Baktaoui is a player I've watched this season with some intrigue, I said at the beginning of the season he'd be too good for that league and he's easily proven me right. Some of them are based on the fact that they're being watched by other clubs of our ilk. I'm doing some scouting at the moment, which hopefully I'll be able to make some money out of in the future (although probably not at all, but it's still really good fun).
In fairness though, it's the third tier of Scottish football he's playing in, it doesn't matter how good he looks it doesn't tell you anything, you've got to consider the opposition. He could be good, but equally he probably isn't. Just to put in context how bad the other teams are, ex-Scunny midfielder Jim Goodwin at the age of 34, and former City trialist Mark Fotheringham are first team regulars in the division above.

I guess a discussion on favourite curries is a good reason to derail a thread. I'm a bit partial to a lamb korma and I like chana masala as well as a brilliant okra dish prepared by the Caraway Grill here in Regina. They deliver but probably not to Cave (neither north nor south)
El Bhatakouri, whatever his name is, might be decent or he might be another Daryl Duffy, Stephen McPhee or Paul Hunter! SPL might have a few good larkers but I doubt there's much lower down, I agree with League 1 players though, even L2, wouldn't mind seeing us take a punt on Roofe! Players leaving, I think we'll get decent money for Robbo, Abel H, Snodge, Livermore, although not sure if Elmo's going on a free, would be a shame not to get anything for him, but this season he's been a bit ****, if he signs a contract, I believe he's been offered one, I'll be shocked!
That's just ridiculous. Never understood the point of something like that, you just taste burning. You wanna be able to taste the food at least.
Bollocks....they would be 3 that others would want, therefore they will go. In fact, they will be 3 we would get decent money for. I just hope Robertson ends up at a decent club rather than joining Pulis and his hoofball crew just because they put a £5m bid in.
