Morning, Dave, morning all, BTW. Yeah, was pretty non-plussed, really. It's drinkable but not my weapon of choice. A pal of mine makes his own though and one of those last week was the best non-Guinness pint I've had in decades. He'd added loads more hops so perhaps it was its dryness? The balance of sweet/dry beer is very fine, I find.
Just put a quick cut and paste thread up, away this weekend. We need a WIN. COYH!! Have a great weekend all!
Good morning all from a dry, cool Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day and very good luck to your Golden Boys!
Morning all (except NZ - good evening to you). We had rain overnight in Jersey, but it's not raining now and the sun is trying to break through.
Morning all, back from my week in the UK. All went very well apart from getting into the country and when I did the restaurant had stopped serving food. Had to subject myself to McDonalds which was not very good. I really cannot think how anyone can make coffee so badly.
It could have been worse ofh - you could have found yourself in Starbucks or Costa or Caffè Nero.... Something awful seems to happen to coffee when chain shops start selling it.
I think Watford F.C. will be in the Prem next season, today´s results helped us and a point might just do it. Nevertheless, I´d love a few more points to cement that.
Morning all, a beautiful Sunday morning in my part of rural France with a blue sky and just a few fluffy white clouds. Temperature expected to be about 20°C and the vent on the greenhouse is already wide open. Looks as if an outside day is calling.
Hello all from a cloudy Jersey. Anyone have any luck with a bet on the National yesterday? I didn't bother.
Afternoon all from a getting cloudy Bandit Country. We had new Granddaughter stay over last night and apparently she woke up only once in the night for a feed - strange I did not hear a thing! Been to the gym and cut the grass and now chilling - Little Miss W_Y is taking Mrs W_Y put for afternoon tea in Woburn, so just eldest son and me home for lunch.
No Woody, we are a very "food conscious" family (well when not at the football). So it's Salmon & Tiger Prawns, New Pot's, Green Beans, Carrots & Cauli Cheese (just a little bit though). No alcohol either as I am on a dry week-end and he in on call out. Paragons of virtue here in Bandit Country!
Many thanks Leicester. Sunderland now need four wins from the following to overtake us - assuming we pick up no more points... Norwich (a) Arsenal (h) Stoke (a) Chelsea (h) Everton (h) Us (a) I can't see them doing it.
