In light of Mr Aguero's impending transfer to Manchester City and his reported 200k per week wages, I'm wondering if us having a 50k cap is such a bad thing. These ****ers must be living like Brewsters Millions for heavens sake!!!! I mean nobody needs that much money surely???

Manchester City will be screwed when the Arab decides he's bored with his plaything, don't know how they'll be able to compete in Europe once new financial regs come into place.

  4. I personally think a 50k wage cap may stop us from signing some players we could really use, but i'd rather we not start paying silly wages again.

It's not sustainable .. look at Adebayor .. Man City don't want him, but no other club will take him because he's on £175K a week .. these money rich clubs throw cash at these players to get them, if they don't work out they're kind of stuck with them at hugely inflated wages that the majority of other clubs simply can't match ..

Not sure how the new rules are going to affect any of this .. probably not at all .. not really the players fault, in any job you look for the best wage right .. it is a bit steep though, not sure how the upwards wage curve can continue as it is at the moment ..

NUFC is 100% correct to have a wage cap in place at the moment ..

This. Big clubs will find their way around it. Some people believe they will fall and other clubs will catch up. Not going to happen.

That deal only just about covers Aguero, Tevez & Yaya's wage cost I believe.

the money clubs can't buy everyone there is a restriction on the squad size so there's always quality kicking about besides we all know just because your team cost a fortune and are on stupid wages doesn't guarantee success .....Wimbledon is a prime example of great team spirit and a style of play that suits the players you have can work
