Oh, it seems that price is for Premium Tickets. Not too bad then I suppose, depending on what exactly makes it 'Premium'. My point still stands though.
It's the nature of the beast though. Football is football. Imagine being a Chelsea fan this season for example.
Not know what you are going to get? Any major sports event where they sell tickets in advance...Olympics for example.
You know exactly what you're going to get. A year of fun and frolics, heartache, anger, joy, frustration, relief and happiness, all intermingled, alternated and melded into an emotional roller-coaster. Cheap at twice the price. Vin
I have a pretty good idea what I'll get; triumph and disaster, ecstasy and despair, faint flickering hopes either snuffed out or vindicated, and with any luck some half decent football along the way.
Music concerts as well. I've paid over the odds to see gigs which have been dreadful, but also seen some fantastic free performances. You never know exactly what you're going to see. The same applies to music albums. Unless you have already heard a new release all the way through, buying it is an act of faith. I've never bought a season ticket, but the same logic applies to single games: you never know what a game will be like until it's played, it's why we love it so much!
Can't you get Jamboree Bags anymore then? No more rock hard chewy sweets and plastic toys made in South Korea?
Another in the world of football: tickets for World Cup and Euro tournament games. That lottery system where you don't know which games you're paying for. Also, of course, lottery tickets themselves - you're usually paying,of course, for absolutely nothing. But also the odd chance of millions of pounds.
I think you need to chill out, St.G. Anyone would think you were the only one with a significant thought in your head. If I were you I'd concentrate on the lovely Ms St.G. She seems to be the best part of you.
