Being a recruiter must be very different in the UK than the US. Every head hunter I've met with asks me what my favourite restaurant is and then takes me there for dinner or tea...or sometime s breakfast whilst they try selling me on working for this company or that... it's the only time I eat anywhere expensive. Without a car I imagine it's difficult to go meet all your clients all over your region. There again... Most recruiters in the US tend to be young ladies too.
He takes them to the Cheez. ****house Pete meets them in the beer garden and threatens to kill their living family members unless they give Cuth all of their business. Job done.
The problem with women is that they are needy creatures that eventually grind you down and make your life a misery so keep it casual and just chilll, if that doesn't work for you then **** it!
I disagree with that. I've been married about 15 years and can honestly say, life with the Mrs. is much better than life without. I don't feel ground down or miserable. Sure I get annoyed with her occassionally and there's a lot of things I can't do that I could if I were single but it's well worth it. I love my kids but I'd say kids are a greater drag on lifestyle and more likely to make you miserable than a woman is. They're worth it too though... Sometimes.
Absolutely! It's all about finding the right wife. : Actually, early in the marriage the Mrs. Did complain if I spent too much time playing games or too much time reading... Or too much time working in the garden. That was annoying. Now she doesn't care what I do. I have my time. She has her time. If I leave for a weekend to kayak she doesn't complain and even helps make sure I pack everything. And that way each having as much self-time as we need we can enjoy our time when we are doing something together.
Yeah but that's not the parody of married life that I'm looking to post for comedy value on a football forum.
So the Unit gets her bean flicked by Lezzers on a Saturday night? Cool. As for Julie, take her out for a bevvie and then smash her lad, not a complex conundrum that one.
Nailed it I spoke to her at lunch time. I said it was a good result last night and she said she was a bit tiddly and couldn't remember, I thought "Here we ****ing go" so I told her the score, but I wasn't referring to the football. She laughed. I asked her what time she finished and it's 7, but she's staying to watch Wire v Saints. I said that we could do with sitting down for a chat and what was she up to on Saturday, which is working again until 7. I asked her if she had any commitments after and she said no. I suggested meeting and she said yes. I'll leave it tonight and get on it tomorrow.
Nice, balanced view there - not a sweeping generalisation at all. Does Mrs luv know of your opinion on half the human race?
