I'm sticking a few bets on. £30 on Jimmy Walker at 80/1 £10 on Matt Kuchar at 66/1 £10 on Snedeker at 60/1 £10 on Stenson at 25/1 £15 on Fowler at 16/1 £20 on Scott at 12/1 The only reason I've stuck £30 on Walker is because my mate has put £400 on him each way and he's got form for picking the winner. He stands to win £20,000, highly unlikely but you never know.
Surely Els is value at 300-1 and he tees off with Day and Kuchar, backed all 3 of them. Think a good start in the Masters often helps
Spieth off to a flyer, is 2015 going to repeat itself? One of the greats already this lad and only 22
I'll still give it a try next time I play though… Actually I don't have to try, many of mine are like that anyway… that's dambustering, not where it finishes.
You couldn't make it up, it was that bad the commentators were saying how sad it was to see! I had Els as a winner of the Open at big odds a few years ago. Bubba Watson and Jason Day starting to implode now especially Bubba with a double bogey
Well after betting on Spieth last year the odds put me off this year, too short, and fk me he goes and does it again. Lumped some on Scott at 25-1 and he struggled, but got a flutter on Willet, Stenson, Westwood, Dustin Johnson, Brero and Oosthuizen to fall back on, although I think Spieth will win it the odds on the rest make it palatable on each way.
Poor old Ernie 7 putted from 2 feet, did well after that to only finish +8 tbh, my head would have been totally fried
the guy who does the commentary for Sky (ewan something or other) also repeated this trick a few years after Singh did it.
It was really unbelievable watch him, a pro putting like that at least makes us amateurs have some hope.
