    Good Morning Everyone,

    Well Done Colin!!!!

Neil Warnock has been named Manager of the month for March. He managed to secure 10 points from four games in his quest for Rotherham to avoid relegation.

    Is Evans better than Warnock?

Evans made a statement yesterday saying Joey Barton deserves to win the Championship player of the year award. (Personally, I think it should go to Sloth. How many times has he been on the losing side for the first team this season?)

That got me thinking. People are saying that our midfield is not good enough, they lack bite, they lack engine, they lack dominance, they lack lack.....

Do our midfield look better on paper than they do on the pitch?

If you were an opposition team and you saw the likes of Dallas, Cook, Dave, Adeyami, Bridcutt, Mowatt and Murphy would you not expect more of them than what they are giving?

    Can they give more?

Watching the Pool game last night, putting aside the quality, the one thing that stood out is that they attack in depth, and make good use of their full backs.

We used to make good use of our wing backs. with the likes of Sterland, Doreigo, Harte, Mills, Kelly - they all were really attacking players and could cross a mean ball.

I think if Wood had the service, he could be a real handful.

Our full backs are probably our strongest positions - Can we get more out of them?

Morning all: yes we can get more out of the backs, but they need to have a holding player who has quality and dominance and we don't have that. (Barton type) Evans sets up very conservative which means he tries to make sure we're solid at the back and that reduces our options going forward and can be easily read by opposing managers because we do it all the time. This also leaves us vulnerable later on in the game because we have not put the game to bed simply because we don't have enough shots or attempts at goal. Wood would be good is he got quality ball and you only have to look at many of the few goals we have scored which actually came from a quality ball, think you'll find our % of scoring from a quality ball is very high. Just happens we don't have enough of them and we're easy to read set up like this.

Morning all. A basic ingredient of any footballer should be the the ability to pass or cross a ball properly. Sadly most of ours cant even do that. Pathetic frees and corners. Mind you, it seems to be a dying art, seems more important that the modern day footballer can run around for 90 minutes, ability with a ball is secondary. Leicester being the exception of course <ok>

I think pretty much all of our team has performed below par this season. There's been some good individual performances at times, but more often than not below par.

There's got to be a reason for that?

    No motivation?
    Poor managers?
Things going on behind the scene's disrupting the players?

Would you be happy with a new owner and manager and exact same team for next season though? Not sure I would tbh

I can't understand how we have managed a full season with such terrible Centre Backs.

Haha, I actually criticised him relentlessly for his poor crossing but at least he had speed. Our current lot dont even run past anyone or cant <doh>

    Afternoon Bucks. I disagree.

Although Taylor has not been flying, the full backs have been stronger than our central defenders, midfield wingers and forwards. Therefor, its sad to say it is our strongest position, alongside Silvestri

You cant disagree I said I agree <cheers> But the cover we have for full backs isnt great, Wooton & a very unexperienced Coyle.

Just thiinking about or CM's We got Dave, Bridcutt, Cook, Mowatt (although more advanced) Adeyemi, Murphy, Philips and of Course Sloth who cant get a sniff in. Whats our strongest CM partnership there?
