I'd go for Hollands against Bournemouth. Has been here all pre season. I'm sure Alonso will get his chance but not quite this early due to his match fitness levels being lower.
I personally think it's going to be a battle between Alonson and Stephens. I think Hollands is a near guaranteed start.
I get the same impression Super. It appears to me that Hollands has been brought in to be our main man at the heart of our midfield. No bad thing, he's got a bloody good engine on him and looks a good player to me. I can pe the other CM spot being a straight battle between Stephens and Alonso. As of yet I've not seen the latter play, yet I've been impressed with Stephens (reminds me of Michael Carrick).
Just think Alonso and Stephens both being playmakers will be battling it out to parter the ball winner which is Hollands. Wouldn't be surprised if Hollands is vice-captain either!
I reckon it'll be as your line up but I DO think Waggy will start on the right over Bover. Bover on the bench.
Waggy will start IMO. Bover would be a nice curve ball, but just think on the first game of the season CP will play it safer.
