Ignore him, mate. You can't expect him to be nice. Good result for us - looking forward to the return leg.
I am nice, point out where I have been nasty? I have said already that tonight was a good/great result for you and has given you a very good chance of making the semi's, what is not nice about that.
Agreed. We proved a lot of people wrong with that performance tonight. Origi is much better than Sturridge at the lone striker role, even if he's not as much of a goal threat (sounds stupid after he scored tonight). I already had tickets for the home leg so I was really hoping we would take something back to Anfield to fight for, otherwise it would be a waste of time going to watch our players just go through the motions for 90 mins. Now the tie is set up nicely for another top Anfield European night
How did Cout not score? Had half the goal to aim at and instead hit it right down the middle making it easier for the keeper. Thought Lovren was brilliant from highlights just saw, Sakho & Lovren put in some vital blocks, making a decent little partnership in the middle there. Unfortunately they are both prone to a huge blunder.
Well even if losing the tie I dont think that wouldve been the case Its not jumpers for goalsposts mate
I'm assuming we played Origi because we were setting up to contain them. He's stronger, faster and more direct than Sturridge and more likely to do something with a ball lobbed upfield at him. The midfield played their part in defending tonight and their shape was much better than of late, but consequently they were a bit slow to support the front man and I think Sturridge would have been too easily crowded out. I expect Sturridge to start the return because we'll play a different game.
Looks like Henderson is ****ed for the rest of the season - left the stadium and crutches.. Rumours circling about a LCL injury. Shame, not on his best form but we're short in that area. Let's hope Allen can stay injury free.
