Professional performance springs to mind. Most of the pressure that came on was as our result of our own sloppy passing, besides our attack we're clearly limited on the ball. But, many writ us of to get smashed so the 1-1 is a very good result, European night at Anfield I hope will prove to be the difference as it has been so many times in the past. Well done Origi who is also proving a few critics wrong, still only 20 don't forget.
Was being serious mate, like I said only saw the last 32 mins but it was so boring and honestly poor on quality of any kind.
Except I'm not, like Saint says its lucky nothing come off from the poor passes he made. Neither CB's were poor today, just that Lovren was better imo tonight. I don't need anyone telling me my opinion is wrong.
Off to bed, as I'm up at 4.30, but well played Origi and the centre backs. Hope Coutinho plays in the second leg... Won't focus on negatives though, but I'd have taken that before the game - I thought we'd win it even after Dortmund equalised. Will we regret not putting it to bed? Well, it won't be 0-0, that's for sure. But we can score more goals than them at Anfield. Dunno whether we will.
If that's what you believe so be it, I can only comment on what I have seen. The result was very good/great for you and gives you a very good chance of going on to the semi's, I am just commenting on the football I watched from both teams so not being biased against you lot.
Everyone excepted us to get beaten easily so to come away with a draw, an away goal and what sounds like a fair result is good. Said before that we do well against the bigger teams where we are underdogs so not a total surprise. 2nd leg is going to be tricky... sit back and hit them on the counter or push for that crucial first goal.
I predicted a 1-1. All this praising Dortmund as some great football power is vastly overdone. They are very ordinary. I think it was an opportunity lost to beat them as they were there for the taking, we showed too much respect: almost beaten before the first ball was kicked. So good result but we shouldn't be complacent like most people here seemed to be. They can win away as their match against Spurs showed. In fact 1-1 is a very dangerous result for us. They know they have to score and if they do score before us at Anfield it will be a very tough evening. The toughest part of the tie is yet to come.
Oh yeah well you'd have been playing tonight if we hadnt hammered you Someone ban this ****wit, he has totally overstepped the mark Tosser
My mood is quite good actually considering the day, the same can't be said for some of you lot apparently despite the good result. Like I have said twice before, I only saw the last 32 mins, if things were better before that I will gladly accept that opinion, if not then from what I watched it was a poor game.
