Same here, and smelled. Like when my wife drops a raw stinker in the bed and it's beyond anything you would be able to explain with words.

For what it is worth I was "contacted" by a recently died brother during a ouija board session which was being done to show how it worked. I knew it was him as the person conducting the session had no knowledge of my background and the name my brother used was one we had for each other.

Open minded about afterlife following that.

You were nowhere near the board, not touching it, had never met the bloke before, dropped no clues subtly or subconsciously?

It was a spur of the moment effort on a board that was made up with pages from a diary and the usual yes/no replies and four of us had our finger on top of a glass. I only knew the woman casually and as far as I know she knew nothing about me so nothing was pre-planned or possibly researched.

The clincher though was his name came through and he used a Geordie expression and it was only about a year after he died.

You had your finger on the glass? If I'm not mistaken, a Ouija board works on moving a glass towards letters?

Interesting, but far from 'supernatural' in my opinion.

All four had our fingertips lightly on top of the glass which is quite normal apparently. It may not be supernatural but it shook me. Still open minded.

Look, these people are fraudsters. Look at the James Randi Videos on YouTube and you'll see.
Here is one simple trick you can try on your friends:

Ask them to think of a number between 2 and 10.
    Multiply it by 9.
They will then have a 2 digit number.
    Add the two digits together.
    Subtract 5.
You will now have a single digit number.
Turn the number you have into into a letter:
If it is 1 it becomes A
If it is 2 it becomes B
If it is 3 it becomes C
If it is 4 it becomes D
If it is 5 it becomes E
If it is 6 it becomes F
If it is 7 it becomes G
If it is 8 it becomes H
If it is 9 it becomes I
Think of a Country that begins with the letter you've got.
Take the second letter of the Country you have and think of an Animal that begins with that letter.
Think of the colour of that Animal.
Get them to write it down.

Tell them they have written Grey!

    Simples innit!

I worked at at Bishopwearmouth cemetery in 1977 and saw a young woman ghost, and it was weired I tell you, she stood looking at me and since then I believe in the after life, as a woman in our house said she had seen a female presence behind one of our chairs in the living room one day, although I am not scared of anything living or dead on this planet, apart from Des o connor !.

Next door neighbours wife died 3 years ago and he says that she comes and visits him, not as frequent now but in the early days it was quite often.
He is scared stiff of the visits and you can/could hear him telling her to "go away".
He says that when he is asleep she comes and wakes him up by physically shaking him, poor ****er is scared ****less.

That's the thing with these mediums though.
They always pick a common name like Bob, Joe, Tommy, John.
Never a ****ing Malachi or Zachariah trying to come through is there?
TBH, the god botherers crack me up.
The Witnesses are the weirdest ****ers.
Would rather let their children die than give them a blood transfusion. <doh>

I'm telling you man, religion is sick, corrupt & ****ed.
I mean ffs. A man can turn water into wine & they nail him to a lump of wood?
**** OFF!!!!!!!! That bloke would be richer than Bill Gates.
And it's the hypocrisy of it all that really narks me.

I'm sensing you lost a family member, recently...

Well I lost my great grandma in 2005.

Yeah, that's who it is, did she have a friend called Ethel or Margaret or Betty?

Yeah, Betty was her best mate.

Well she's having a pint with Betty, she sends her love.

    Betty didn't drink.

Yeah, Betty's drinking a tomato juice.

It works on the 9 times table and manipulates you into thinking you've got variables, and here they are, they'll always add up to 9:

    1 and 8
    2 and 7
    3 and 6
    4 and 5
    5 and 4
    6 and 3
    7 and 2
    8 and 1
    9 and 0

So you're always going to get D, and the path of least resistance will take you to Denmark, unless you think outside the box and say Djibouti in which case you end up with BLACK (Black Jaguar).
