the good thing about the geography is the catchment are to get players from as kids is massive probably too. That should encourage a good youth set up.

Good luck to them, I remember saying to people during our Championship season that Brighton had the right set up to make the Prem soon, fingers crossed they do it would be great for the region would prefer them to go up than Boro

Off the field, definitely a prem club. Stadium size would fit mid table and big new training complex. Just need that final push to get the team there.

Not really much of s rivalry between saints and seagulls, guess as you guys have Pompey close they take the attention. Only really a small bit from time in League 1 / Championship when Adkins and then Pardew had a moan up.

Definitely be a nicer away game for fans than having to travel up to hull, Burnley or middlesborough

 

Yeah no real rivalry with Brighton bar our 2 promotion seasons (Their one ) In the league 1 year was quite fierce as we were contesting promotion together. Quite the opposite in fact I look out for them to do well same as Bournemouth.

Our 2-1 win at the Withdean to end your unbeaten home record with Fonte scoring late on remains one of my favourite Saints moments.

 

Beat you to that league 1 title though, Adkins blew his lot trying to get one over and failed misrably, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy to be fair

To be fair, we were playing at a rented athletic stadium, you guys were a prem club that had been relegated and were never a league 1 club to begin with so no surprise you guys went right back up twice.
