Definitely good taste.

Although I can't stand her music, it's so depressing. What an earth do people do at her concerts? Just stand around and cry while texting their ex calling them a ****er?!

It's a girl thang. On a recent driving holiday in the States my daughter's copies of 19 and 21 went missing. Only for a couple of days. Good days, mind. Happy days.

Well great taste by Adele anyway. Good singer but on my list of "overhyped", together with such wonders as Oasis, Prince, U2, Madonna etc. Nothing so bad but just not as good as everyone makes out. IMHO of course!

NB I also did the great American drive holiday - did all 48 contiguous states! Listened to a lot of American talk radio. Frightening!

I'd largely agree about Adele being a talented singer who's overplayed, but she knows which producer to use.
No idea what Rick Rubin does, but he's been involved in some very successful albums across a wide variety of genres.

Another example is how the quality of Michael Jackson's output nosedived after he stopped working with Quincy Jones. Working with Jones gave us Thriller, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Man in the Mirror, Beat It and plenty more - without Jones we got Earth Song.

If Spurs do not win the PL come May, is Adele going to "channel" her grief in her
next LP (provisionally titled "2016" ) ??
