A lot of Mousers are indeed a very special breed.

The fear of being 20 pts behind Spurs with 6 games to go was much stronger.

Once upon a time they could have declared at Xmas and still not finished 20 points behind Spurs

Klopp has a lot to do

  7. And I don't think he can do much. 'Pool are a spent force. You cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

Its a shame for genuine fans like the one Brian quoted..but for everyone of them, there is a 100 Sucky's crying at the end of every video cassette they watch of the glory Years....its led him to this passive aggressive behaviour....which he does a poor job of hiding behind.

    Keep on trying Sucky.

Gotze was never going to happen ffs lol, i fully expect klopp to buy some relative unknowns and turn them into world beaters, give him 2/3 windows i say, lets be honest if he can get us into the top 4 within3 windows it would be a small miracle given the state of the squad he inherited.

Tge smell of fear in here is repugnant. But i like it haha

I said at the time of his appointment that Klopp was the only coach out there who I could see turning you into a force again. The real problem, however, is Ian Ayre and his band of merry men up in the ivory towers who somehow manage to screw up every promising transfer deal in lieu of overspending on dross. One of the key shifts in focus at Spurs last summer was that after Baldini was shown the door, we all expected Levy to once again increase his control over transfer dealings as had been the norm until then if we didn't have a DOF in place. However, it seemed pretty clear from the way we went about our business that Poch had been granted more of a say than any manager I can remember in the PL era - more so even than Redknapp. The speed at which we concluded the Alderweireld, Wimmer and Trippier deals when strengthening the defense was Poch's stated goal as early as May was telling. Beyond that, selling Capoue, Kaboul, Chiriches, Soldado and Paulinho all at a loss was an incredibly un-Levyish thing to do. To clear our so much deadwood in one window was unprecedented considering how long the likes of Bonjani Khumalo and David Bentley were able to hang around like farts in a lift. The lateness of the Son deal, the drama of the Berahino deal and then the botch-up this January indicate that Levy hasn't yet fully handed over the reins, but enormous steps have clearly been taken in the right direction.

My feeling is that Klopp needs to be granted absolute control of funds in order to build the team that he wants. There's no point hiring one of the most highly-regarded coaches on the planet, then leaving him at the mercy of a frankly inept board. I just don't know if he's done enough to prove himself yet mate, I've got to be honest with you. Things definitely look better than they did under Rodgers, but has he done enough?

Maybe he should've held out until the end of the season, when Bayern would be in need of a new manager...

I mean that sentence is pretty bitter in itself, isn't it?

Seriously though, good luck with the rest of the season. The Big 9 just wouldn't be the same without you guys <ok>

I'm sure the Goons will beg to differ.
And possibly your immediate PL rivals + equal "small club syndrome" outfit the Spanners, also.
