There won't be a joining fee for the membership that's only for individual games/bundles of games, there's only a fee at all to stop people on full memberships from cancelling when there's no games on and rejoining when there are. I suspect it will end up being more than a £50 fee, as it has to be a reasonable deterrent. Though anyone who's happy to cancel and rejoin obviously doesn't care too much about where they sit, as they lose their seat when they cancel.
Scrapping this unnecessary scheme is the only way forward to support the team on the pitch for the rest of the season and retain support. Any tinkered with re-launch will be pressing a nuclear self destruct button not just for this season but for a generation to come with us plunging like Blackpool have from their Tower.
Let's all just wait and see what it actually is shall we You're getting your preview today aren't you? (Or you thought you might?) ......or did you say tomorrow? Either way we'll know soon enough...hopefully
As the current scheme has 1000's losing their seats without even cancelling, I don't think many will find it an issue to renew their old seat later.
If we don't go up it'll be fairly irrelevant anyway I didn't renew and have been able to get seats for every game on either the same row or one away and only 6 or so seats away from where I stood anyway I suspect if we stay down that will become even easier. Easier still if the legion of the disillusioned grows with more young people and old people joining it too!
I think Ehab should start attending matches again. He is never going to have his finger on the pulse watching on tv or listening to the pitches of marketing people whose prime interest is in their fee.
I might or might not be getting the details today, it's all a bit up in the air, though I'm not going to be able to post details ahead of the club launch anyway.
yeah I realise that you wouldn't post details I was just making the point that a few days ago at least it seemed the actual scheme would be getting publicly launched tomorrow (ish) Edit - no idea why I quoted Ben regarding being breastfed by a 25 year old relative...!
There's bo grey area. According to the club anyone joining next season, former pass holder or not, will pay £50 membership fee. The only queries are the Premier league bit, and any revisions, which nobody yet knows. As it stands,it's £50.
