Personally I think they were stupid to get wasted like this in mid season but
1) not sure what spurs players getting pissed up over 8 YEARS ago has to do with with players doing it today!
2) those players were celebrating winning a trophy after beating Chelsea in the final and Arsenal in the semi final whereas Whilshere has been injured all season, missed loads of last season and the previous one through injury...he is pissing his career away bit by bit.
3) The players in your photos weren't regularly photographed pissed in night clubs...whilshere is.

He is a talented player but is a mess as a person from what I see. His body needs to be treated well to recover from so many injuries but instead he has been caught smoking and getting pissed on more than a few occasions. He ain't some young lad, he is a man and a father so old enough to know better.

On a side note...in this day and age where these stories are online, does he not think that he is setting himself up for a real problem when his child can access the internet and see these stories in a few years time? The first time he tries to tell his teenage child off for getting pissed etc. they'll just throw this stuff back at him and point out he were a kid when he was doing it!

 

I agree, he's an idiot for getting involved in those kinds of incidents. Also as you say he needs to concentrate on his recovery not drinking and smoking. And as a father, he's not setting a very good example to his kids.

As for Spurs players though, Deadknee King was regularly being papped stumbling out of nighclubs pissed out of his head. Or being manhandled by bouncers after assaulting them and hurling racist abuse. Far worse than Wilshere's misdemeanours

Ledley King was regularly spotted falling out of nightclubs.

EDIT: Piskie already commented on this. King's love of a bevvy and a night out is memorable as he was a player who couldn't train in between games because of his gammy knee. I doubt the boozing in between games helped his body recover much. Good player though.

Don't ever remember him being charged and convicted of a racist crime and have never seen footage where is he seen or heard using racist terms.
banter and wind ups are one thing but calling someone a racist or claiming someone has hurled racist abuse around with no evidence apart from taking the word of people who sold their story to a paper is beneath you imo.
