Good Morning Everyone, Why is there always a mistake waiting to happen at Leeds Utd (on and off the pitch) During what can only be described as a dull game, where two goal shy mid to lower Championship teams went through the motions, why with two minutes left would you tug your opponent to the ground, when a) He was being double marked and b) Was in no position that he could have even got a shot off at goal? After the game, Evans had this to say about Bellusci :- "Giuseppe Bellusci is a very good player and has had a couple of games where he's done things you would expect better of him. "I tell you what he is, he's a man. He walked into the dressing room and was very humble to everyone. He did the same at Rotherham. He's an honest man who doesn't take things lightly. "We have a tight-knight dressing room where we support all our players. "I would (pick him with confidence) on Saturday. There are other good centre-halves who have cost me more." Thoughts? I note with interest that Matt Derbyshire's red card was rescinded by the FA. Just a thought... Replays show Derbyshire's elbow make contact with Berardi's face causing facial injuries. Compare with... Doukara allegedly biting an opponent. Player complained at the time, and the referee did not do anything as there was nothing to be seen. 8 game ban.
Morning Elland and all. Weather not great. When's the summer due? Long time till new season kicks off. Can't wait
Morning all... There was a time many thought Cooper was the weak link, then Bellusci, then Bamba now back to Bellusci. Is the problem lack of coaches? Tom Lees seems to be doing fine now, Bruce had a great season when he left for Hull..
Morning Eire, Familiar. We can't wait for the season to end. As soon as it does, you know we will miss it!!!
Morning all, Ristac has some very valid points because we've seen many players leave and excel at their next clubs. Poor managers who have poor coaches? when was the last time we had a top coach under a manager and don't say Carver
Morning all We have become so predictible. Did anyone think we would hold that lead? I knew our luck would run out again and it did. I think next season is going to be the lowest take up in season tickets on record, which is going to be damaging. What a lovely through ball from Murphy though and I am glad Wood has scored again, hopefully he will score a few more on the bounce now, which tends to happen with strikers.
Yes it was a terrible game to listen to, thought we could have held on, but it wasn't to be. Move on to the next one. The season may be over but I've got my hotels sorted for the last two games. Support the team or ship out....CREW CREW CREW Morning all..
17k at ER last night we played at Bradford last week and they had 18k can see where your fans are going
I had the misfortune of being there last night. A heady mixture of dull and expensive. It was a rare trip to elland road and will probably be getting rarer on that showing.
£149 for a season ticket at Bradford Chesh you better get in quick mukka they are selling fast Never know ya luck though maybe Cellino will match that and give you 2 free pies
Bucks is spot on because we've had a dozen years of watching us get worse and go backwards, whoever we have as owner and manager. Those dozen years however have lost us a generation of kids who support prem clubs now. Too expensive to take kids under Bates etc, and now we reap what we sow. Gates go backwards due to kids not getting the bug like we did. Even many of us are gutted and sick or getting too old or skint to be bothered (Look at Eire ahah) How many dads couldn't afford to take their sons and so families now have dad as a Leeds fan with his boy(s) scum or scouse or arse ....
Bellusci reminds me of the old Dick Emery character 'Gaylord'. Can just see him going up to Cellino now.....''Dad, I got it wrong again!!''
