Sorry to be slightly pedantic. The list of trophies won by the clubs is not an indication of the current form of the teams. May be the last 6 results might be more indicative?
Thought about that on prior games but decided not to put that in as it was cup and went for prior meetings and history in cups. The list indicates two European powers clashing
If any one of these players get a yellow card on Thursday they'll miss the second leg at. Coutinho Firmino Clyne Lovren Moreno
All important players too (Flanno isn't registered so no cover for Moreno hence Milner playing LB a couple of weeks back)
Refs announced finally. Quality as in...they are tight with the rules of the game? or quality as in terrible so we have a chance to win with some very questionable decisions?
Quality in no way whatsoever. He's total ****e, this was the clown that Fellaini get away with about 2.5bn fouls in the first leg at Anfield.
Will be a really good test as to where this team are. We've seen we can really compete with the top clubs in England (1 win 1 defeat v Leicester, 2 draws v Spurs, 2 draws v Arsenal, 2 wins v City, 1 win v Chelsea, 2 defeats against United being the anomaly). Dortmund would probably be leading the Prem if they were in our league, and if it was a league match we'd probably be ok, however for some reason, we seem to struggle when it comes to Europe. Maybe because we've been the favourites for our last few ties against foreign teams. Give me a score draw in this game and I'll take it
I do live in Germany and was tempted to go with the other halves brother, but got deadlines this week at work so can't really fit in the time to go.
