As a few of you know i don't say much on here for my own reasons. I prefer to read most of the time and hold back on comments.

Don't quote this as gospel but my understanding of what is going to happen as of now, is the upper west will not be closed and said people will not have to move.

The only concessions will be senior citizens who will pay a reduced rate, these said supporters will not be required to give up their seats and move anywhere in the ground they do not wish to... Their prices will not be increased to full prices either.

I did not renew my pass this season after 30+ years due to the pricing and work committments, but the way i see it now and understand, i will be able to have a seat (maybe not my seat i gave up) in the south stand for approx £27 a month... I am classed as a single Adult supporter who would not normally be given a seat in the South Stand under the new membership scheme BUT i am told i will be classed as a "Family" member as i have always sat with my 70 year old dad and attended 30 seasons with him and he still attends this season with another family member.

I presume this (my season ticket purchases over the years)can be verified by the club ( through my ticket account) that we have sat together for this length at least in the new stadium since the move from boothferry park.

Anyway in principle the club say this shouldn't be a problem if i enroll in the membership scheme for the forthcoming season, as long as the seat either side of my dad is available, which it will be.

So for me, it is win win, paying approx £27 a month to watch football again, whether it be in the championship or the premier league.

I understand it may be difficult for families with several kids who go, but sacrifices have to be made unfortunately. I would like to go on a world cruise every year but i can't afford to, so i don't go. For once, again in my opinion, this is working well for the average working Joe who doesn't have kids (or kids under a certain age), who is not on benefits/credits etc. For once the average "working" man is not being priced out of football.

Just my 2p worth, i cannot vouch the info about the membership scheme changes is 100% true, it is only off the cuff information from a club employee.

I think the mistake the FWG made after the last meeting (and it's not a criticism it's an observation) was making a comment without having full details of the scheme.

I couldn't quite grasp the purpose of presenting something that wasn't liable to be changed, and couldn't be discussed until it was published.

Unless it was so they could report, as they did, that 'fans' had been consulted and were supportive.

It wasn't presented as something that couldn't be changed. We were given an overview, we made observations and raised concerns and were told we could submit detailed comments in writing immediately after the meeting (which many of us did) and we'd be invited back in a week to see the finished version.

Sadly, that never happened, Burnsy tweeted details and the club released what it had with no amendments.

Hopefully, the subsequently backlash has led to the main issues now being addressed. We'll find out in the next couple of days.

I am, for once things at this moment seem to be good for me with regard to returning. I like lots am sick and fed up of people with a tribe of kids getting everything reduced, demanding childcare, getting this and that etc. When my parents had us, they could afford it, if parents back then couldn't afford to have more than 1 kid, they didn't , simple as that. They didn't demand free childcare, free this, free that, tax credits etc etc....

Why should i pay more for my ticket, why should i pay more for "anything" so my neighbour with a tribe can go watch for a fraction of the price i have to pay?

People with kids want to take them to see football, pay the going rate for them... My dad did for me until i could afford to pay my way.

Sorry, that is the harsh brutal truth.

Once the final one was published, it was claimed that the one presented didn't have all the information that was in the final one, so the FWG couldn't possibly comment on the scheme in it's entirety.

The harsh but brutal truth is, if you don't get people hooked early, the club ultimately dies on its arse.

I agree with some of that my friend but you cannot go giving seats for next to nothing.

20/30 years ago, there wasn't anywhere near as many "kids" as go these days, there wasn't nearly as many fans.

All the time the club is doing well, people will go. People will pay the price (A La Premier League), people will buy the £50 ticket if the man before them refuses.

Seats will probably always be filled, expecially now Adult prices are reducing dramatically.... Kids become adults, they will go..

Though we didn't have the final numbers, we knew the scheme involved scrapping concessions, making the South family only and closing the West Upper. Not knowing the final numbers meant we didn't know how big an issue the scrapping of concessions was going to be, but we certainly knew it would be an issue.

I will also say that having always sat in the South, over the years it has become more of a nursery, with more and more kids....

I don't recall City every charging kids the same as adults. The harsh brutal truth is that you are being dishonest when you said your dad paid the going rate.

That's certainly not how it comes across on here, but it's academic, the fans saw the final one and fans outrage has forced some tweaks.

The lesson should be for the club to get better advice than they've been getting, as the current system clearly doesn't work.

Aye, far better they remain empty, and kids find other ways to spend their time and money, which they'll carry into later life.

I agree with cheap seats for kids, but they where too cheap last year in my opinion.
I know 3 people who paid 30 quid for a kids seat next to them just for the extra leg room, and while its probably people like them who have caused this issue, if im honest I thought it was a good idea and was considering it myself this year until it all changed.

Premier league, they won't be empty... Championship they will work the games out and sell tickets cheaper for the less popular matches.

You say "Kids become adults, they will go"

That's the difference between a life long fan and a temporary PL follower.

You HAVE to get the kids hooked early.
