Apart from Rolls Royce and being as a kid an avid collector of train numbers,I associate Derby with its railway history which goes back to 1840. One of our number worked at Derby in this industry before seeking fame and fortune in the US. Reaching back into the memory banks, in 1946 I listened to my first radio commentary of the FA Cup final which was won by Derby. Back to today- with no great confidence I will go for the score draw.
Clucas trained yesterday apparently, if there's no adverse reaction, he will be in contention tonight.
**** or bust for your lads tonight I think. Lose this and you'll be looking over your shoulder, win and you might just do it.
Was there in the days of Clough/Taylor. Even had a season ticket at the Baseball Ground. Back to this season, since I have been in the UK I have been to every game except Bristol and they have lost. Decided I am the jinx so as I am not going to Derby I confidently forecast a victory 2-0.
My mate's moving to Derby, his Mrs is going down within the month, he's going down....in May! New manager?
Yes it is, I don't think we've lost there since the 80s or was it against derby at their place since the 80s, something like that.....
1-1, decent point and then look to the remainder of the games which are all winnable. Burnley may get dragged back into the mix by in-form Cardiff tonight.
01/02 0-3 League Cup Championship 05/06 1-1 06/07 2-2 10/11 1-0 11/12 2-0 11/13 2-1 So our recent record there isn't too bad! Let's keep it going!
I have a funny feeling that none of the teams above us will win tonight. So you're right, it's do or die time and if we can win tonight it could really open up again.
It might well be but no wins in 2 is about as bad as they've been recently! And it is a tough game on paper tonight, especially after a gruelling trip and tense match with added injustice at the weekend.. Lets put it another way, if they win - they're up.
Let's put it this way! Forget everyone else, it's too late to be worrying about them, let's do the job tonight & take it from there!
I really hope we attack both away games, and go for the 3 points in both, rather then playing it safe for points. its a big ask but a full sweep and 9 out of 9 points this week is whats needed in my opinion , to get us right back amongst it.. 7 wouldn't be the end of the world but 9 and wed be flying again
Going for a draw on this one. Trying not to get too carried away as before Saturdays game we've been poor. Hopefully the lads have turned a corner and can go on a bit of a run from now till the end of the season. 1-1
