Will your heart rule your head ?...Do you trust your gut feeling.

Either way, these run-in's are hellish !!

    SAFC -

    Leicester (H) - They've won their last three 1-0. A clean sheet = an outside chance of a point. Pred - D 0-0
Norwich (A) - Forget the must win clich'e, we can match their grit and we have more up front. Pred - W 2-1
    Arsenal (H) - I only see a defeat here, hope I'm wrong. Also I hope Wellbeck doesn't travel. Pred - L 0-2
Stoke (A) - Tough as old boots this outfit. We need another clean sheet or more Defoe magic. Pred - D 1-1
Chelsea (H) - They've hit form at the wrong time for us. Do we play for a point ? Too strong. Pred - L 0-2
Everton (H) - Started well but slipped away and no chance of Europe. Sticking my neck out. Pred - W 2-1
Watford (A) - We don't have the God given right to say we can beat these. Maybe only a point. Pred - D 1-1

Verdict another Nine points = 36 Points .....Might not be enough !

Based on my predictions including us beating Norwich and having a game in hand, the Canaries would only need to win two of their remaining 5 other games to stay above us.

I will add a footnote to all the above.

The fact that we have both Everton and Watford to play as our last two fixtures, this is very handy indeed.

    Why ?

Because they could both still potentially meet in the FA Cup final...and I'm 100% sure that any player concerned, won't want to get injured, now would they ? <whistle>

    What are you predictions guys

    Sunderland 5 points
    Leicester (H) - lose 0-2
    Norwich (A) - draw 1-1
    Arsenal (H) - lose 0-2
    Stoke (A) - lose 2-0
    Chelsea (H) - draw 1-1
    Everton (H) - win 1-0
    Watford (A) - lose 2-1

That Watford result is because you're already down, if you need a win there, I think you could do it.

Your last victory was against us and you've played Palace, Newcastle and West Brom since then, picking up 3 points from those games. Norwich have taken 6 from Newcastle and West Brom in their last two fixtures and they have Palace next... there's only one team winning games down there and it ain't you lot.

    Leicester H 3 pts
    Norwich A 0 pts
    Arsenal H 1 pts
    Stoke A 0 pts
    Chelsea H 1 pts
    Everton H 1 pt
    Watford A 3 pts
Thus 9 pts - but .....too many variables in football - I guess suck it and see with a mouth full of fingernails - <doh>

I count 3 for us and 4 for the Mags. Both go down us ahead of the vermin. Can only see us getting draws in the games we need to win.
    Us
    Leicester H 0 pts
    Norwich A 0 pts
    Arsenal H 0 pts
    Stoke A 1 pts
    Chelsea H 0 pts
    Everton H 1 pt
    Watford A 1 pts

    Mags
    Soton (A) - 0 points
    Swansea (H) - 0 points
    Man City (H) - 0 points
    Liverpool (A) - 0 points
    Palace (H) win 3 points
    Villa (A) - draw 1 points
    Tottingham (H) - 0 points

Easy, we've pulled off none of those unpredictable results. Even the Man U home win(though rare to us) isn't a rare thing these days.

Good post mate but finishing above the mags could still see us relegated, Norwich are our relegation rivals now.

The Norwich game is the killer.
The "Must Win" game at all costs.
Apart from this I cannot see Norwich getting anything from the remaining games they have to play.
Villa are gone for my money and so are the Bar Codes.
We would only need a draw to send Norwich down on goal average and I believe we can get two draws.
    It's not much but enough.

Norwich are beating teams that you are picking draws up against, your logic is blinded by your faith.

Like I said Tel, the Norwich game is the killer - lose it, and we're down!

can agree with that, don't know who Norwich have got left to play other than us and Palace.
Know its not a happy hunting ground for us though.

    Another crazy season.

Nobody thought we`d stay up the previous seasons but we did so it can be done.

Game in hand, Goal difference, still hanging on but only by a thread.
