John Hartson taunted by sick fans

CELTIC legend John Hartson was targeted by a sicko on Twitter who taunted him about a dying 11-year-old cancer sufferer he befriended.
The ex-footy star was left outraged when the cruel yob posted a string of twisted sectarian messages on Hartson's web page about terminally ill Jordan Houston.
The internet fiend - using the Twitter name Catwoman23uk - bombarded the Hoops icon with vile tweets after Hartson uploaded a photo of him with brave Jordan during a visit to see the youngster at a hospice in Kinross last weekend.

One read: "How long has your dying Jordan got john hahahaha watp 1690".
Another post to dad-of-one Hartson - who won his own cancer battle - said: "Hey Fenian I hope your cancer comes back and also your girlfriend gets it and u both die from it leaving you kid with no parents."
Last night Hartson, 36, blasted the web lout and said he was so disgusted he considered quitting Twitter.
The Scottish Sun columnist said: "Some of the comments made me feel sick to the stomach.
"Jordan is a fantastic young kid who is seriously ill. When we had our picture taken I asked his dad Chris if I could add the photo to my Twitter profile - and he said Jordan would love that.

Jordan's stepdad Chris Napier and mum Chloe also hit out at the Twitter bigot.

Brickie Chris, 31, said: "What they are writing about him is disgusting."
Hartson struck up a friendship with Hoops fan Jordan, of Musselburgh, East Lothian, after the lad was diagnosed with an inoperable form of cancer last August.
Catwoman23uk last night claimed their account had been hacked amid a backlash from sickened fellow users.
A Twitter spokesman refused to comment.

What happened the usually vocal Rangers contingent. Keeping silent as it is indefensible? The silence is damning in itself as they have shown, once more, they do not have the stomach to condemn these vile acts carried out in their name by their own.

It is truly sickening to see people do stuff like this. So what i he used to play for a rival team. So what if the child is a celtic fan. People need to put their rivalries aside in some instances, such as this.

I'm neither Catholic or Protestant but it seems Celtic and their fans have so much more class than Rangers.
