I've just seen that with 9 games to play last season, Leicester were 7 points from safety and Hull were 9 points ahead. I wonder if any of the teams a few points above us are feeling nervous????

I can't believe Palarse aren't pooing themselves a bit given there position and form. Lose to us and any sort of results for Dunderland and Poocastle and they will be unleashing some brownstuff in the general direction of their tighty whities!

    Bah!

Klose not being in that team is a joke. He was fantastic. Him and Mbokani ran the show.

If Mbokani can keep up that kind of workrate, hold up play, winning fouls from nothing, and that wonder strike give him the confidence to shoot more often. Then he would be a player worth signing on a permanent come the summer.

Let's just hope that's what he's thinking too. Even if he is not to be our player next season, the lad needs to pull out all the stops to ensure he gets the best for himself next year. Hopefully we will benefit from that in the run in.

    Bah!

That's the best I've seen him play, and in that game he was the kind of player I had read up on and seen on youtube videos and hoped he would be for us. Him and Naismith ran the Newcastle players ragged and pulled them out of position all over the place. That's what we really need against Palace and Sunderland too.

Was Martin injured or dropped for Wisdom on Saturday?

A knock or a bad one?

Was also fantastic and a shock to see Redmond on the bench and come on! Perfect for the run in.

Martin looked lively enough when he leaped off the bench after each goal. So did the rest of the subs, come to that. The team spirit certainly seems to be there.

Exactly RER and the way AN and the entire bench celebrated, I wish I'd put some £s on us staying up a few weeks ago!!!!

We are still a long long way off safety. I was getting excited thinking 3 games unbeaten, 2 wins in a row. I was thinking 4 points from the next 2 games, and I'd be over the moon!! Big ask, but if we can somehow manage that, then wow!

Then I was thinking...There's still 4 games after that! And Sunderland and Newcastle have 5!

    Lost more twists to come.

2 more wins would see Newcastle needing 4 wins and a draw from 7 to over take us if we got no more points. The next two games will be vital not least because we could drag a new player into the relegation scrap.

There's always a team that looks like they will be battleing to the end who shoot up (let's hope it's us) and a team that drops like a stone from a solid position like palace. Watford Swansea and Bournemouth aren't looking as safe as they have either. Could be very open in 3/4 games time.

I'm more worried about Sunderland at the moment. I'm waiting for Big Sam's magic to kick in. I'm worried about him and Defoe.

Watching TalkNorwichCity Video. He was saying how the Clackers were given out again, and although called it "fake Atmosphere" (I kind of know what he means from when I had a season ticket). He said it helped with the noise, and also, he said the atmosphere in the Barclay and Snakepitt was the best since Ipswich last season.

So so happy to hear that. I said on here we really needed that, and so glad it happened. We need exactly the same against Sunderland at home. That atmosphere and fan performance is essential. I had to give my season ticket up when I bought and did up my house a couple of years ago, but from all those seasons there, if the atmos is really intense and gave me goosebumps, I knew we were going to win!

We need this every home game, I know the away fans are always insanely good. We can't help our allocated tickets though. At home, the fans can make such a difference.

Agreed Sunderland is the concern. That's why I want us to drag as many teams into the battle as possible.

What Saturday did was take it out of Sunderlands hands. Previously they had a game in hand that could have taken them above us. That changes the dynamic of the game with them, instead of a must win it becomes a don't lose. As we would hold that position ahead.

To be honest points totals don't matter now just have to match the results relative to those around us.

It's going to be an interesting ride

I am beginning to think that it's Villa, Newcastle plus one. The Mags game in hand is Citeh and their GD is significantly worse than all the other candidates. I don't really think that it's going to extend any further than Palace either. Swansea, Watford and Bournemouth are going to get a couple more points. One thing I notice is the number of teams we have yet to play who have the possibility of an FA cup appearance to take their minds off the league. If United get through their replay it could be all four.
