Interesting (to me ;)) that Liberals haven't picked up under new leadership. Seems souls are not as easy to buy back as to sell.

I toyed with whether to post it as was not sure if one or two posters would make out these people are operating within the law etc etc.... Surely no law abiding person can condone this sort of thing?

Those people are all wealth creators Yorkie, they need to have loads of dodgy money hidden around the world so that we can have jobs.

    Or something like that...

I think it's more 'look that way, there's nothing to see here' economics...

One person will intentionally misread the article and accuse politicians of all being corrupt so we need to make government smaller and leave the EU.

The other one will have to wait for his carer to turn up to read it for him, there are quite a few words in there...

Nobody can defend fiddling and illegal actions, however offshore accounts are not illegal and should remain as a place to deposit transient legal funds.

I also find a nice bit on money laundering that has come to light in the papers:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/35956324

So Mossack Fonseca is complicit in dealings that break national law..... defendable??

And the obvious reply to that would be 'But look at Iceland'.

There's an interesting take on the exposé from former Ambassador Craig Murray, who questions why the leaker chose to publicise the leak via the west - choosing to focus upon corruption in the ranks of the enemies of capitalism.
