Mysterious...I was going to speak to him just before second half, but he wasn't in his seat. Man of mystery Anyway don't let them youngsters sit down again! ...kids eh!
So ask your contacts on Monday morning (and update us all, if you wish), but, in the meantime, are you saying, or implying that the phone situation did not exist?
I don't recall anybody complaining about the queues, seriously, I just don't. It was all a part of the thrill, the build up. My mum queued for others and didn' t go, did she complain? We've lost the need to want to and accept we have to do a bit more. Everyone wants instantaneous gratification, it's the way it is, but it's not right to compare yester'year unfavourably, it was what it was - and in my view, so much better.
I'm implying nothing at all, but if I'm going to talk to the club about it, it would be useful if I had a better understanding of why it's happening.
I agree, but I would really expect the club to give you chapter ... The comments on here were observations, none of them were folk having to make the calls. I see your point, but, personally, I would just let the club explain themselves - I said it a while back, you do tend to be a tad apologetic of late; not saying you are, but just reading your responses it seems odd that you were more forthright as Trust director than you are now. Has it all changed so much?
Absolutely nothing has changed. If I say what the hell was going on in the ticket office, they'll more than likely just say it was full of people who should have been in the club shop, if I have no information to counter that, that will be the end of it.
I'm not if I don't really know what's gone on, but if there is an issue that people want an answer to, then I'll try and get one, just as I would with any issue anyone raises on here that they'd like addressed at a FWG meeting.
Aye, I see that, but let them and simply report it as it is. I don't understand the wish to remove every obstruction to clarity; why not challenge James Mooney to do his job. He is is either very good, at what he does, or ****e; but for some reason, or another, he never seems accountable, anywhere. You seem far more accountable and that puzzles me.
I'm certainly not trying to be divisive here, as I have a great deal of respect for what has preceded, but I just think the club are the ones who need to speak to us. I am very sceptical about the involvement of the OSC; their input is so juvenile it is ludicrous.
Ah right, I just read it as you doubting the person that raised the questions. I didn't notice any mention of meetings. Is there an FWG meeting on Monday? (edit...just re-read the posts, and it was another poster that mentioned Monday) As far as the ticket office **** up is concerned, I'm pretty sure some those directly affected have made their feelings known, but no harm in getting an answer for here. I think if raising things with the club as soon as they come to light would be a good initiative to start. It should possibly have happened sooner. It's possibly an idea to start a thread on here so that more issues and more details can be raised and answers provided. That way it makes the issues a bit more representative and clearer.

I spoke to someone who's card would not scan and they had to queue up. I am surprised that the only option is to go to the ticket office and ring someone. This is an issue for the SMC. The one thing I did notice was that the lights at the back of the turnstiles do actually change orange or green.
I really don't think there is need for anything, other than those who get paid for it doing their job. The club are ****e at communication - they might have good reason for that - don't substitute - demand James Mooney does his job - that might include admitting he is necessarily evasive and dishonest. Better the devil we know, hey?
Aye, I'd misread Fez's quote, perhaps understandably with there being no mention before that of raising it with the club. Presumably you'll be carrying on the work PLT did as not606 rep now you're not their on behalf of the trust.
