Deffo I think they have to get the kids all grown up. The children of Ragnar all have prophecies from the blind guy.
It's easy check online tomorrow for results and frankly do I need see two auld fellas fake pound each other. Shane McMahon was at this in the 90s. Takers best years were the first 6/7 of the streak.
Yeah, all set up for a big fight now that the Frenchios despatched a lot of the Wikkings without barely losing a man. Wikkings will be wantin some serious retribution. Plus Ragnar saving Floki from drowning will probs heal their rift, bring them back together and they'll come up with a final masterplan before a few of the big characters get deaded. Depends on how they do it but Ragnar could die very soon or a little bit later but still soon
According to history his kids are involved in avenging his death in Britain further down the line after the king throws him in a pit of snakes. Other account says he dies of cholera in Paris during (i think) the current invasion they are undertaking
I think we could say the same about wessex It's in it as much as Paris and they killed all the farmers last season. Ragnar has to die at Paris. Vikings have to hit england again and the 3 kingdoms have to end up as one prior to what I see as the grand endgame of rolos Normans killing alfred or whatever at hastings and some other Ragnar descendant being beaten at Chelsea just before.
Maybe they'll do a series with Bjorn leading the way to give the children time to grow, think he's supposed to eclipse Ragnar's achievements so that'll be interesting to see where he goes. It's clear they plan to go to Asia because of the introduction of a random Chinese woman that just happens to be the Emperor's daughter. Whether that'll be next series or the one after isn't clear atm though.
Yes...misquoting I'm sure but he screams when the Wolf howls the cubs hear.... Except he didn't exist.
Nope... he's an amalgamation of three possibly four nordic rulers. His "sons" were attributed to him later as part of nordic myth. They existed but Ragnar didn't.
Interesting mate, never knew that Real or not though, he's been a great character and he's one of the main reasons that the series is as popular as it is now. It'll be a shame when he does go because there will be a massive void in the series for a bit until someone like Bjorn steps up (or the tattoo bros).
I think you are right. He made the show and without him it'd have been one season and laugh off due to stupid accents. It's well known real vikings sailed the Volga so it depends how Asia they want to go. They'll prob have one be Eric the red over in us and all.
You'll be surprised if it goes long enough and skips years...Bjorn isn't the greatest son. They've got the English kings in place so let's see if they go with it. Rollo as I think Bodanki pointed out is a cool character.... Obviously trying not to spoil it. Legartha is the same...two great actors doing roles... But Aslaug.....
They just found a new Wikking settlement in North America using satellite imaging so they got around ... there was ploughing to be done
They're still finding just how far the vikings went....but as the show is er showing...they weren't a singular group in one country....as we know it.
