As long as we have the knicker-wetters and the trouser-defecators spitting their dummies out, I fear I'm going to have to keep repeating myself.
Some people are just not cut out to be football supporters I reckon.

Considering he's got Bruce managing him he's done pretty well for a young player trying to work around the tactics he gets given.

Clucas is very similar to Quinn, but he is a bit younger and has a better goal scoring record.

He's been good overall, but he has been fairly poor for the past six weeks or so.

Exactly this. Quinn was decent, Clucas however is better.

Clucas when on song sets the tempo for the team.

The management obviously see the stats for player performances - Bruce has 2 or 3 times said that Clucas covers more ground than any other player in the team. When one player does that, it rubs off. Leicester have built a potential title winning side playing high tempo football.

    That's a fair assessment.

He's got the tenacity of a field mouse when it comes to tackling; the positional sense of a brick wall when Robbo's trying to get past him; and an ability to convert one in ten goal scoring chances! You get what you pay for in the main; he's done okay, no more, no less. In recent weeks he wouldn't have been anywhere near the starting eleven for me. Would we get £1.7m for him if we were selling tomorrow, maybe!

I think Clucas cost £1.3M, it was Diomande that cost £1.7M, and at present there's no doubting which one of the two was the better value for money.

If someone misses an important shot, I suppose people could 'vent their frustrations' having paid their admission and are therefore entitled to boo.

I'm not anti Clucas in the slightest but I wouldn't say he's better than Quinn. A better comparison would be Richard Garcia. He's a winger who doesn't have any one particular strength but works hard and is a jack of all trades. Also scores more often than his overall ability would suggest. All like Garcia. Quinn was way more skillful and creative but less solid defensively. I'd also say Quinn covered more ground than Clucas does. It's often said what a great engine Clucas has but I don't see him anywhere near the likes of Livermore, Robertson, Elmo, Odubajo or Quinn in that respect. Remember it was his injury time heavy-footedness that allowed Adomah to cross for Boro's winner the other week.

He was definitely a good signing but Bruce wanted to keep Quinn and I agree with him. He was a massively underrated player for us.

I agree to an extent, but I think Quinn had played at a higher level so he had that experience that came with his game. This is Clucas' first Championship season and he's done very well. He's obviously going to have less effective games but overall I think he can be happy with his contribution this season.

Bruce has said in quite a few radio interviews that Clucas covers more ground than any other City player during a match, I assume this is factual information as it will be based on actual distances covered by each player, rather than what it looks like they've covered from a fans perspective. Quinn also used to play on the left, like Clucas. Clucas can also play centre midfield like Quinn. I don't agree with Quinn being 'Way more skilful' - they are probably about equal in that respect. Clucas however has a far superior engine. I liked Quinn, but if it was a game of top trumps - Clucas would be the better player in most categories.

I have a factual ****meter at work, it tells me that I have cover more distance each day than my colleagues, yet I'm still a fat ****.

Where did it all go so wrong? Is it owt to do with the Field's pie van that turns up at 11 each morning?

Bruce is **** with numbers we know this. He thinks Tom Ince is still only 14 and Alex Bruce has played over 900 games in the Championship. I don't believe for a second that Clucas covers more ground than Livermore does.

When I say Quinn is underrated it's the quality on the ball I'm referring to. He got this reputation as a workhorse but that really wasn't all he was. His crossing was bloody brilliant which never seemed to get acknowledged. Clucas can cross well sometimes just as he's a good finisher sometimes but as I said before, he's a jack of all trades, master of none.
