We had just as many chances as they did, and more possession. I suggest you take your red and white specs off for a while,..
I think you are probably being a little florid with what you call a 'chance'. You can't just go calling more possession a 'chance' you know.
Wasn't much in it 2 very similar teams with good players throughout and some that need replacing. I thought we're were slightly better on the day. Bit disappointed we didn't get 3 points. Spurs fans need to get their red and white shirts on today.
Have any of the Dippers claimed that yesterday's result shows they are good enough to challenge for the league? It seems inevitable.
So Sturridge could have scored 3 or 4 but he missed 2 good chances? **** me ... no wonder Liverpool missed him so much when he was injured
Sturridge looked like he was playing for the shop window rather than the team, the fool. Another day he scores twice and gets an assist. The funniest thing (possibly the biggest owning of the season) was watching Walker chase Coutinho's shadow. Complete different class, no wonder Klopp started him down the left But we definitely edged it, watching the game I kept thinking 'are these lot seriously title contenders?' - When you compare that Spurs team with the Man Utd's and Chelsea's that have won the league in recent years you really do have to laugh. I guess it shows just how bizarre this season has been. Kane took his mask off once out of London. Probably popped over to Manc land before popping it back on and heading back down south. #kingpower
Piskie has a unique condition known as 'Spurs tourettes' . It's not his fault, it's genetic. As lucid, well rounded and educated as he comes across in off topic forums, any mention of Spurs and his condition kicks in. So if Spurs played Arsenal off the park and stuffed them 5-0, his condition would prevent him from passing on appropriate praise.
Neither Walker nor Rose have been a convincing Full-backs. In reality, they are RWB and LWB, respectively. That's why Poch has Dier at DM, to try to cover their blushes. For Rose & Walker to have a good game, the entire team needs to keep possession of the ball, to allow both Rose and Walker to get forward. 'Pool pressed us hard, yesterday, and won a lot of the ball in midfield, which enabled the likes of Couthino to find space out wide. The other option for Poch was to have our entire back-four sit back and let 'Pool come on to us, so that we could hit them on the break, but I think that would have been disastrous.
Take Coutinho away and put Firmino in and we're not much different. Firmino has adjusted to the league now and playing very well. I expect a big season from him in 16/17. But yeah I get your point. Coutinho is probably the only player we have that could push for a starting place in any PL team.
Didn't go quite to plan yesterday though did it? Coutinho cut in from the left and left Dier looking at the clouds instead of following him for the goal. Moreno is similar in the fact he's more of a LWB than a proper FB. Without a fit Lucas in our team there are massive holes when he bombs forward like a headless chicken.
True. But being in the first 11? The only team that he may struggle with is City I guess. You've got Silva, Kevin et al. to surpass. It's highly possible, but I suspect he'd be on the bench if I'm honest.
I thought Lovren was the best Mouser on the field, yesterday. But for him, we would have ripped 'Pool a new one.
