I think Bruce will see the season out, no more than that. I agree that his whole demeanour has changed, although I think that has as much to do with his own shock at now being a chaser, rather than a leader. He has set various targets to match his failing standards, and he is just very focussed on getting back on track - some of the mistakes we have discussed on here, have finally sunk home with him - that's my view. I think Villa need someone asap, the new manager will need to get ready to off-load, also being ready to make early signings as the playoffs delay others who might be full of ambition for next season. Bruce going to Villa would be a real shock, despite the book. If we were to be promoted, it might be a wild gamble, but how about a management switch with Birmingham? I wouldn't say no.
I enjoy Chazz's technique of over exaggerating a point you made earlier on a different, semi relevant thread. You wouldn't want to go to war with me, I'm more likely to shoot you than I am the other blokes.
I think Rowett is probably the best manager in this league given the lack of resources he has had this season.
There's no need for it to get as personally abusive as it does; that belies the style argument and emphasizes the character far more.
If Bruce stays can someone else please be put in charge of striker recruitment. That French second division player you've had your eye on a while Bruce? Don't!
It's pretty gay. I don't mind when Hat does it because he doesn't take it as seriously, he's sort of like the Joker from Batman. Whereas Chazz is almost certainly Clooney from Batman and Robin.
It's all about results now but did anyone else notice yesterday how easily Brizzle set up chances against our normally barbed wire defense? We could have conceded 3 or 4 goals. This backs up my argument that Bruce has set this team up brilliantly to defend any lead, but we soon lose our shape trying to get more men into the box. Neg head off.
I thought they played some enterprising stuff. Their failing was in coming to play rather than parking the bus - they left City space to exploit. Before he scored his excellent goal, then?
If people wanted were singing Bruce's praises today after moaning about him throughout the season you'd be calling them fickle. Our performances since we neared the end of Bruce's second season haven't been good enough, a 4-0 win against an average team doesn't change that.
Those clappers are Leicester are really doing a job. They've had them each home game and it creates a buzz.
In a similar way to the way we criticise the atmosphere at the KC for a side near the top - ignoring any causation from the owners - I'm pretty critical of Leicester needing cardboard clappers to generate atmosphere.
