Of course we got a clean sheet. WBA weren't interested and were time wasting from their first goal kick. Darlo could have kept a clean sheet against those today. We were poor. Couldn't break down a team who couldn't give a ****.

Their 'keeper was, undoubtedly, 'man of the match' today, but I'd be very surprised if anybody (normal person) didn't agree that Catts was 'man of the match' for our team, Monty, you ****ing idiot <doh> because he really was outstanding :emoticon-0148-yes:

It's blinking obvious that you really are not 'one of us' :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Short brought these 2nd rate managers in, instead of Mancini etc. And red and white I was there saw every minute and the first half was so inept, kicking the ball down the pitch and when will they stop doing that cattermole started it and does all the time, and we rely on Defoe too much. 5 matches without a win now. Larsson back please next week and Fletcher if possible. As for predictions that is a laugh Palace and WBA must win games and look what happens, now Sam says let's beat Leicester next week ! easy eh ? a point a game equals 34 points total, not enough NOW we need the old 38 points target due to Norwich. Cattermole man of the match hehe, that tells you how bad we are then.

Thought their keeper was motm which means we broke them down a number of times. Got through their defence loads just couldn't put the ball in the net.

    GONE.

I think that we will go down, but here is a lame scene that makes me undetstand why a lot think we will survive.

    Today April 3rd 1972. A game v Burnley. SAFC are 3-1 down.

The game enters the 75th minute. Looking grim. What happens?

SAFC only go and score on75, 76 and 79 minutes. To win 4-3.

Moral of the story? We just never know.

Why not? Because being four points behind that still leaves us one behind at the end of the season!

Thanks for that was in a sunny Cambridge with family and knew nothing of game - saw MOD - all Sunderland - no shots for WBA tells all - but clean sheet good (no own goals) -b u t we need to be clinical not make their keeper look good as we often do - still a clinical 3pts against the Foxes would be welcome indeed -and a nice possible surprise <cheers>

My lad text me last night. He said the editors at MOTD were bloody good. Looked different to the game we watched earlier that day.

He made the point while watching some of Spurs v L'pool game in the Chesters.

The difference in perspective between live and that screen on the wall is huge. Some of you guys watching it live so a good game. Many at the game saw it differently. And many of those there saw different performances from the players. Catts got a mauling around us, and from me. Wasn't what others on here saw. Just one of the many things I love about football!!!

Oh and @Gil T Azell !!! There's nowt polite about them in the East Stand mate. The language was appalling. I just felt I had to join in!!

Yep, as the second half went on we got into the game and tested the keeper, Keepers will always play for their own honour. We're in a relegation and wasted 60 minutes of the game yet again, We can't afford to do that and the draws where we need wins will show this at the end of the season(4 points dropped against Bournemouth and WBA at home). WBA were that disintrested, with someone to link Midfield and attack we could have been out of sight by half time. but with our three Dms we were still trying to get into a game only their keeper turned up to.

This has happened before, we look brighter in the final 3rd of a game and everyone forgets how ****ing shocking the first two thirds of the game was. Sick of Sam picking the wrong team, sick writing over half a game off every game while Sam takes an age to work out how he ****ed up in the first place.

I'm not happy with 30 minutes a game of attacking intent. Especially when the opponents didn't turn up from kick off. You might, But not me. It's will send us down because we're not picking up enough points. 4 points a drift after gifting WBA and Bournemouth points they had no right earning, because of the way Sam approaches the game.

Don't get me wrong, The lads gave everything, all we can ask for from the players. It was Sam who got it wrong from the off. 60 minutes of being tame pussycats is 60 minutes lost in a relegation battle as far as I'm concerned. Every minute is precious in getting out of this mess. Sam is very wastefull imo

    Totally agree with that Bri.

The lads did work hard but what was lacking was a bit of quality.

Why the hell Sam didn't make changes in the last half hour is beyond me. The game was crying out for changes and Sam just sat on his hands.

It's the most defensive team selection and bench I've seen in a long long time. Three DM's at home mate. I'm still gutted at spineless Sam, they were there for the taking.

This team, these players can keep us up, If Sam would just stop sabotaging us with poor tactics and team selection.

I've been following the lads for 4 1/2 decades and saying Short has "wrecked the club" is about as sensible as saying he wrecked the Titanic. We've been up and down like a tart's drawers for years...
