Not at all suprised with the result. Feel for all the coaching staff really. It's an impossible job at the moment. What a managerial signing it's working out for Rotherham. Granted, I'd not have Warnock back but he knows what he's doing.
Same respects back Olof,......... I've never been a big fan of Whelan's, I think I mentioned this a while back but, He never seems to have much of a good thing to say about Silvestri, Bellusci, Antenucci, Bianchi, he's been doing this virtually all season with exceptions, but he likes to talk up Wood and other players he likes.. He was always having a go at these players during matches, when they play good games he even finds something to knock'em for, the fact they're all Italians, and/or Cellino signings is left to debate. I agree Olof, he's entitled to his opinion, but he's a commentator, he's said he would ship'em all out at one time or another; even during the interview with the female commentator he said he wouldn't have Bellusci in team. One fan emailed in that Whelan should take charge for the last 8 games, God help us if he did, but I'd like to see it to see if he can back his personal comments up. Totally agree with you Olof in regards to it being a team effort, but Evans is the coach/manager, do you think it all starts with his team selections, and irrespective of how the players play, Evans takes the plaudits, or he carries the can.........
Feel free to disagree LoL, I respect your opinion however, do you think it might be a good idea if you gave your reasons for disagreeing, and probably mention that my comments/opinion are not soley my own; it does make for good conversation...........if that's what you were after, of course.
I like Whelan...he commentates at every match so he has a right to say it as he sees it. I don't want a team of Italians, they are soft they do give up too easily and they are tempermental.
Whelan is right about the serie B ****e Cellino has landed up with, and wrong about the gutless British ****e we have. Team is very poor....
Whelan said about the season in general, not just yesterday... "Teams don't have to beat Leeds, we beat ourselves. If errors like this persist for the club, then dramatic player changes must be considered in the summer." Couldn't agree more...
Dramatic change needed of course, but change for what. Year on year, for the fast decade, we've tried to get rid of our crap just to sign more. Won't be any different this time round. Personally, I couldn't care less what we sign anymore as mediocrity will be the end result
