Same old, same old Chazzsta. I've always been a huge fan and supporter of Sone. Never understood the stick he got. I'm more pleased we finally got a 4-0 I've been predicting all bastard season. I saw large chunks of the game while assembling boxes, and we never seemed to ease off, which was good to see. No doubt if we'd lost, the Bruce Out sheep would be bleating, but he got it absolutely spot on today, it's almost like he knows the players quite well. I hope we keep hold of Snodders, he's got the potential for legend status for us. Huddz stroked some beautiful passes around too. Davies seems back to his best. Wish I'd been there is all.
Good win, vital 3 points. Not a 10/10 performance in terms of playing to our potential, but after so long without goals or wins it's come at a very good time.
Great Score Great day as usual Didnt expect 4-0 when team announced Mr moaner behind me nearly got slung out. UTT
Well.... We were much better than them. Until we scored it was very similar to Boro game Aluko was MOM?! ... I was massively surprised, he stuck to his normal plan of beating someone, so going back to try and beat them again...although the one time he didn't he put a great ball in that we scored from They were ****e, and yet still could have scored a couple I thought Snodgrass was MOM by a long chalk. Passionate, looking for the ball, beating men etc. Could have had a hat trick Diame should have scored early doors....should have been taken off earlier Can't go on...need a drink
North Stand piped up with: #Ashbee's gonna get ya# and #He get's the ball, he scores a goal. Johnny, Johnny Eyre# I had to explain them to my lad.
Much needed win which is hopefully a timely shot in the arm in our pursuit of the top 2 places. So crucial that we won today and the result hopefully will instill a greater confidence. The early goal definitely helped us settle and, despite some decent play on the break, I felt we coped with Bristol pretty well who were in decent form despite their league position. Agree with Sterling, I don't think we hit top gear today and there were times when promising attacks were broken up with an unnecessary sidewards or backwards pass. We seemed to want to play it too safe when we didn't need to which was a bit frustrating. Maybe making those incisive runs will come with the confidence of an upturn with results. Despite not been fully at our best, still some very solid performances today from the team; let's see if we can build on this result on Tuesday night.
Atmosphere did seem better today too (probably to do with us scoring!) Still think at times we're too quiet as a crowd. The start of the 2nd half felt like the atmosphere of a pre season friendly.
I am not so sure, I think he will discuss his future with the Allams, but if they want him to stay he may well decide to carry on.
