****ing told you so. Kitchen almost packed. Need to do another tip run. House looks like a ... erm... house full of boxes.
Sounded like a **** game. Glad I missed it. It's not cloudy and windy here. I hvent spent all day walking round women's clothes shops.
I wouldn't buy a pair of pants over here. The clothes I'd wear are at least 50% dearer than they are at home. €350 for a pair of jeans gtf.
Today showed just how important the first goal has been / is for us. Brizzle, like the past 7/8 teams we've played were set up to contain, but once we got ahead you could see their whole game plan was ****ed, as a result they attacked and attacked us and left gaps at the back which we had the quality today to exploit. Thought Aluko was brilliant today, was all over the place, left wing, right wing, up top and caused them havoc, yeah he's a greedy ****er a bit too often, but against some of the dross in this league having someone willing to run at players can make a difference. I still think we have problems breaking teams down when they pack the defence and midfield, and that problem will present itself again, but for now just so glad to have 3 points, some morale and hopefully some form back too
Under 21s 2-0 going into half time. Something that's surprising is that this game wasn't mentioned once in the build up (I was in the stadium half hour before kick off) to our game or at half time. Opportunity missed for people that may not have known about it.
By the way, that is a great win because Bristol City had won 4 of their last 5 away games before today. Others can say "oh but it's Bristol City" but the rest of our games are against teams in the bottom half of the table like Bristol City are (excluding Derby/Wolves).
No announcements as everyone was leaving, thousands will have had no idea about this game. No team sheets or anything on the big screen so we're just guessing who's who. Madness.
So for weeks I've been going on about two things in particular. We can't head a ball in the opposition box for ****, and our strikers don't work their defence. Aluko today did the latter brilliantly and Snodgrass showed the rest of 'em how to head a ball like an adult. The strikers thing is so important though. Their front men did it too. Kodjia was giving is loads of grief and they created a few chances as a result. Hernandez and Diame don't do that at all. Aluko has to start next game and it's either or between Abel and Mo. They're both lazy but for me Diame wins.
Just watched the championship goals round up and it's amazing how many goals are from crosses n corners. Saw Dyche whining about a goal not given but bet he didn't say out about .joey **** stamping on the Brighton player, who probably enjoyed it...
If anyone wants to see a goalie throwing a game watch the Betis keeper against Atletico. Dodgy as ****. el Clasico tonight.
