Solid draw. The thing that got us moving here was taking Britton off and putting Monty on. Britton was as poor as he has been - slow, outmuscled, sloppy in possession. Taking him off and leaving Fer and Cork to deal with Stoke's physicality was the turning point. We no longer had a passenger in the midfield consistently losing out. Monty obviously did his thing - constant attacking of his man and turning the opposition around, dragging a midfielder out of position whenever he got the ball as they felt the need to double-mark him. Against the bigger teams, I'm starting to feel like unless we're going to play on the front foot, Britton just isn't an option. If we're intent to play defensively, Britton should not be on the park.
