I'm gutted we didn't get a result, but I just knew this was going to happen.

We just can't defend against pressure from set pieces and high pressure attacks.

We were lucky not to be down and out in the first half today and against Sunderland.

We just can't defend, and I feel sorry for the few players that are actually doing something.

Some of our players don't deserve it, but most of them do.

    Ratings -

Darlow - 7 - Some excellent saves to keep us in the game. Poor kicking, but can't be too critical of the lad.

    Janmaat - 3 - Bad marking, **** crossing.

    Saylor - 2 - Clumbsy, brainless. ****e.

    Mbemba - 3 - Shakey as piss.

    Anita - 2 - Raped.

Sissoko - 4 - Looked decent at left back, but couldn't really make much impact.

Tiote - 2 - Lucky not to get sent off.

    Wijnaldum - 1 - Just anonymous.

Townsend - 5 - Tried his best to make impact, but couldn't really do a lot with no ****er moving in the box.

Cisse - 6 - Worked hard, some excellent efforts, unlucky perhaps not have gotten a goal. Some really **** runs though.

Mitro - 8 - Should have started. Good pressure for first goal, very calm and professional penalty.

Perez - 6 - Good efforts late on, won a penalty.

Benitez - 5 - It's difficult to tell how much he can be blamed for some of our play today, but he got it all wrong starting Cisse up top alone. Mitrovic should have definitely started.

Mitrovic should have won the game. He had the chance, Cisse too, but finishing was **** as per. At least Mitro had impact from the bench and didn't completely **** hop the pen, but I hope we sell him on and get someone pacey for the championship to play with Armstrong.

If he uses his Serbian connections to get rid of Anita, he may end up being value for money yet. What a horribly awful player that midget is.

Shelvey - 3 (I do think we have overspent on him)

I agree with all of your points and ratings. I do not know what has happened to some of these players.

I have added some extra points to the above!

Gini... WTF he goes missing in away games. You can tell he is not up for the tackle.

Darlow - 7 - Two very good saves kept us in it

    Janmaat - 3 - Completely uninterested

Mbemba - 5 - Largely given a hard time by Mbokani

Saylor - 3 - Will struggle to find a reputable club next season

Anita - 2 - I'm not sure he's strong enough to carry his shopping back to his car let alone participate in Premier League football matches

Shelvey - 5 - Needs to start orchestrating a bit more

Tiote - 4 - He must have the mind of a 12 year old

    Gini - 4 - He's a passenger far too often for me

Sissoko - 4 - He was just... Sissoko

Townsend - 6 - Made a few runs and delivered one good cross

    Cisse - 4 - Couldn't time a run if he tried

Ayoze - 5 - Injected a little flair but not much else

Mitro - 7 - Made an effort grabbed a couple of goals

What really p.sses me off about this current side is the number of goals conceeded in the last minute of play or in added on time. Sofar this season it totals 9 which for a professional team is discraceful. You'd think that when the board goes up with the time on you'd make sure nothing stupid or gung ho happened, but no we just carry on not learning.
Think we can safely say we are down ( miracles don't happen for us ) so lets just hope the Mackems come down with us.

It speaks volumes about how ****e our outfield players are when our MOTM is our error prone 3rd choice keeper! I've been critical of Darlow but he did OK today, but it was the "Shay Given effect" - ie a keeper made to look massively better by the wretched defence in front of him.

The free header for the first goal and the lack of closing down for the winner were totally unforgivable.

Well Leicester turned it around from this point last season...oh yeah though they had actually been very unlucky in the majority of their earlier games and there quality finally shone through, we're just total dog ****.

Tactics wrong once again, I'd have given Cisse a chance, but why was De Jong benched for the entire game?!

It's at this point that people should work out what amount they would realistically pay out of their own pocket, if they could strike a deal with the universe that ensures NUFC stay up. Then bet that amount on them getting relegated instead.

Remove Mirovic and Townsend and it was shocking. The defending is laughable. I knew as soon as Mbemba instilled fear in a our whole defence with his first few touches we were getting beat and in for a rough day. It was only Norwich nerves and Mitrovic who kept it close. Well done Schteve, Carr, Charnley - that 45m odd spent on midfielders was a stroke of genius.
