Not satisfied with shoring up our defence, he now shows the strikers how to score! I think I love Timm Klose!
We so deserved that, I'm so relieved!! Should be 2-0 as a fair reflection of that performance, but I'm very happy with the 1 goal at the moment. Got to keep this performance up!
Exactly what I thought. What scum they have in that crowd. They did that a few times in that half. Horrible little cretins.
Do you know I was thinking as they did that it could really backfire as it ramped up the tension on their shaky defence. I think we're good value for this lead and tbh it should be at least 2-0 - Brady and Mbokani failed to score (decent keeping to be fair) in two of our best chances of the season. Newcastle retaine the ball well for stretches but apart from two decent through balls from Shelvey never quite looked like threatening Ruddy.
In other news, my sky sports soccer Saturday predictions: Arsenal 2-0 Watford Bournemouth 1-3 Man City Norwich 4-0 Newcastle Stoke 1-0 Swansea Sunderland 1-1 West Brom West Ham 2-1 Palace My over bold Norwich prediction might be the one that lets me down! (Although knowing me I'll be miles off by full time on most of them...)
I follow the match on BBC text and look at the match statistics. From the 30th min to the 42nd we had two shots saved, one shot wide, one corner and one free kick. Newks had one free kick. Yet our possession % went down from 49% to 44%. That stat has to be the most stupid one ever, it has no correlation to what is actually happening on the pitch. Seems that we are now bossing the game after a slightly sluggish start, but they seem to offer no threat at all. How did they thrash us up there?
We should be out of sight, but now Newcastle are picking up. From the look of the stats, Sunderland are battering WBA, but the ball just wont go in.
If that was against Norwich, that's a Penalty all day long. What a F*cking surprise it's not given again.
Not enjoying this anymore. Getting too tight. I am loving how clever Mbok and Naismith are being holding up the ball, drawing fouls, Just what we need in tight pressure matches.
