Burnley seem to be defending corners half zonal, half man to man. Problem is, their zone was sat far too deep for the goal (and the corner before it too) allowing all sorts of Brighton runs. And with that, it's now 1-1. Andre Gray.
Typical of Burnley this season, outplayed for most of the game but take the one chance that falls to them.
Not sure who we should be rooting for here... At this point I'd take a Burnley win to help us claw back 2nd place. Does anyone still think we can win the league?
Last time Brighton lost a game after taking the lead was February 2015 against Nottingham Forest. Wilson has come on for Baldock for Brighton.
All Burnley have done is launch long balls down the pitch. Big deflection in the Brighton goal. In two (or three) minds about this: Burnley win lets us close the immediate gap on second. Brighton win keeps the three above us nice and compact meaning a win closes the gap on all three of them. A draw means both teams drop two points.
Half time. Bruno for Brighton is constantly grappling players on corners. It's so blatant and obvious - how is he getting away with it? I'm off to our game now so somebody else will have to update scores for the second half.
I'd say no chance, but we do look a better football team than anyone else, but don't have the clinical finishers needed at this level and need to watch out we don't completely fluff top six. Watch me be proved wrong, it would be typical city.
Beginning to think that 2 extra games and a day out at Wembley might be our destiny. Still got a game in hand over the others in the top 6 though.
I'd like a Brighton win. To get automatic in any case, we need to put another (long) winning run together. The more teams in the mix the better now for us. If Burnley win, I suspect Burnley and Boro will just pull away further.
2-2 fine too. To be honest, whatever the result one team will drop points, and we need to win three or four on the bounce to get back into it. And we won't with Hudds in midfield.
