Off Topic DC Theme Mafia Sign up & Ideas Thread - 11th April

Have put together some roles on basis we get around 20 odd players for game.

Looking to do next game W/C 11th April. Means everyone would have had a couple weeks break and hopefully be raring to go again.

Have based it on DC but no knowledge is really required as the roles are pretty standard, just with 1 or 2 tweaks to match up with their character.

Have included a poll so can sign up and feel free to make any suggestions you think might be good to the roles listed below.

Depending on numbers, possibly add in another town role with power to even things up, options are a possibly cop role to lock up, or Rip Hunter who can travel back to the previous night to witness a death but for fear of ruining timeline, he can only view and not be involved.



Mafia
Mafia get 3 kills to be used by anyone of them, although same person can’t kill twice in a row unless they are the final member of the team. All decisions should be joint, but Zoom will have the final say. Can also make one recruit and one hack of the paper.

Zoom
Head of the Evil Community. The only way to kill the speedster is to lynch him, as unlike most movies, in this town no one can escape an angry lynch mob! Zoom will kill with a hand to the heart of his opponent and is the only one who can kill Flash.

Killer Frost
Zoom’s right hand girl. A deadly ice blast kills her target in one hit.

Joker
Death by humour is his motto


SK Roles

Captain Cold
He’s a lone ranger out to cause as much destruction as possible. Uses his cold gun to delivery an Icey blast that kills the target in one hit. Can kill every night.

Deathstroke
He’s a lone ranger out to cause as much destruction as possible. Uses his staff to fire lethal energy blasts to kill his opponents. Can kill every night.

Although both SK’s are lone rangers, from Night 3 they will have the option to join forces. They will each be given a choice, join or fight. If they both chose join, they will become team mates and will take it in turns to kill. If they both chose fight, they will fight it out in a 50/50 with one guaranteed to die. If one choses fight, and one choses join, it will be a 50/50 choice. The one choosing fight, will have a 50/50 chance to kill the other.


Town Roles

Flash
Uses his speed to avoid being shot at or killed, however like Zoom, can be killed via lynch mob or by Zoom who can out-speed him!

Cisco (Vibe)
Can look into someone’s future and see what they are planning on doing that night… unfortunately he passes out as soon as he’s finished so can only pass on his information in the morning.

Iris (reporter)
Local nosey journalist. Will follow someone around that night in the hope of getting an exclusive and will report back the findings in the paper the next morning. Unfortunately due to trying to stay out the way and not get caught, they may only see half the picture… will the paper be more guardian or daily star?

Firestorm (Masons)
Stein & Jax
Two members will be part of Firestorm. You will be known to each other and be able to communicate via QT board. There will be no recruit or adverse condition if one of you dies though.

Green Arrow (Vigilante)
Looking to rid the town of evil, Green Arrow has 4 arrows to use how he sees fit. Deadly accurate, one shot will kill his target.

Harvey Dent (Town Mayor)
The Town Mayor has access to the government files where the lynch results are kept, although he always seems to try go through them at the busiest point of the day so can only ever search 2 peoples names and who they voted for each night before he has to dash out. What he does with those names each night is entirely up to him. Possibly the towns only link to patterns on the voting, however announcing early will leave him open to attack!

Vanilla Townies
Important part of the team to work out clues and vote on the lynch.

Are you going to do a twist where the Green Arrow can be recruited by the Mafia? He could become Al Sah Him Warith al Ghul with the option of staying on Mafia team or betraying them.

Don
