Hold you to that mate lol... Talking of...did that ever happen? I remember a thread about a 606 meet up a long while back. How many on here have met up????
I know mate, trying to stop the likes of you re-writing contracts and sacking people for misuse of company Internet.............the ****s
80% of our company are collective agreements ala greed by unions and they get so many more benefits than us on personal contract is ridiculous.
I re-read The Ragged Trousered Philanthroprists for the first time since sixth form last year. That's set in pre WWI England (Hastings). The issues of public/private ownership, insecure pay with no contracts and terrible working conditions were rife then, as now. Oh, and another thing that hasn't changed is the number of working class forelocker- tuggers (or aspirants, as we call them now) forever rimming the laissez faire capitalist system and the rich in the hope they'll be thrown a few more crumbs than those who object.
And yet when they win a larger pay rise than the company originally offer, those not in the union never turn around and say "Nah, I'm happy with just the original offer'.
Does someone work for the union lol I'm OK as I get a nice 90p an hour pay rise in June. Not much admittedly, but it all helps as they say.
No, I don't, but I am in a union. ****ing hypocritical to accept any pay rise over the original offer otherwise.
