Went to work today and left mine at home!

Talk about addictions! Its not gambling, alcohol or drugs, but I had massive withdrawal symptoms not having it with me!

How the hell did we get by without them 25 years ago?

Necessary tool nowadays - there are days though when I switch the ****er off - it's quite liberating

They're extensions of us, they're not going away.

I can flip a deal in 5 minutes now, images, straight to client, face time chat about the deal over 4g, email him an agreement then check the funds are wired to my account in a split second.

The guy could be in Boston in the US and I wouldn't need to go anywhere near a laptop.

A similar deal, even 5 years ago could have taken days.

Not really on topic but I got an iPhone 5S yesterday and it's only got fingerprint recognition hasn't it. I just place my thumb on the unlock button and it works like a password, might be old news to you guys but it makes me feel like James Bond.

It's a great feature mate, you can use it instead of typing in your password at the AppStore as well, to pay for things.

I used Apple Pay at Costa the other day, simple as you like.

Or my daughter waits until I'm asleep and uses my thumb to unlock it and spend hundreds of pounds on candy crush saga or whatever it is. She's only two weeks old though so I'm not worried just yet.

Mine is used as an alarm clock & very little else.
