I dont think Bony would want to come back to a small club even if he could anyway, He has had a taste of a big club now and it would be a backward step for him to come back to us at the moment.....Maybe as a final season when his usefulness is diminishing as a top player we may have a chance but not now.

Haha I think you need to check the win percentage before making statements like that dai it's thanks to Curtis and G that were still in the premier league, if it was left to monk we'd be down by now. The way I see it, the football started going down hill since monk became manager. His first season was great points wise but the football was rubbish and has been deteriorating ever since. It may be a long time before we see the swansea way again. A BIG CLEAR OUT IS NEED AND MAINLY MONK SIGNINGS!!

I think you had better check the reasons why first before spouting off at our most successful manager in premiership football Have we improved ? have we fcuk ..... If monk was not **** on we would be in the top half challenging for a European place now.....

 

Dai you're deluded. I think everyone and his dog knows what went on and why monk left but you've got to ask why no other club has taken him on? Maybe you know something no other club does. I'm grateful to monk for keeping us up and for a great season but he f****d up this season big time. And I don't consider him our best ever manager not by a long shot.

I consider Rodgers to be more successful as you need to look at what he achieved with the available resources. PL football for a start and surving the first season laying the foundations for us to become a genuine PL club

I'd also consider Laudrup a more successful manager, winning a major competition, brought European football and top table finish, playing attractive football in one season with less money than Monk.

Monk brought nothing to the club other than a respectable league finish

You are proof that you dont know just like most on here that are ignorant of the facts...I know exactly what happened to the letter and why he was given A £3m hush money and don't try and say it was his wages as he was never on such a high figure....Laudrup only got a million and a half when he was sacked even though he wanted more and a £1m bonus for monk keeping us up....Did he get it did he fcuk.......When you have contacts like me at the liberty then there is not much that i cant get the facts about....

 

Dai TBH I'm sickened by the actions of some of our board members and Monk **** on his friends stupidly. I don't care much about sordid affairs and gossip so don't really listen Chinese whispers anyway.

One thing I do know is that you are over rating Monk. You're like a dog with a bone you need to let go.

 

To be fair 2/3 of them have gone now, but we will need to get rid of a lot more. The one thing I will say is did monk sign them, want them or was it someone else who has been playing Championship manager on his PC to much.
