    3) Thin Lizzy
    4) The Who
    5) Iron Maiden
    6) Deep Purple

ash at the octagon in sheffield in about 1999, they were very loud, very tight and generally fantastic. a surfing student gave me a split lip but even that couldnt dampen my spirits.

mate of mine has seen AC/DC nuff times and says they are crazy good!

    Eric Clapton

I'd love to see Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin but not much chance of that. Might try and make Roger Waters the wall next year though.

Very, very different. His latest work These Hopeful Machines is a mix of rock, trance and house, lots of 'stutter' edit.

It's a good album but very different, and also very long (double album, all tracks about ten minutes. There is a release called These Humble Machines which is all the radio edits on a single disc).

    On the subject of gigs-

    Lostprophets at Hull Ice Arena

    Numerous Pink Floyd cover bands

David Gilmour at the Royal Albert Hall (Richard Wright and Nick Mason of Floyd also turned up :D)

Muse at Wembley (Lily Allen and Big Pink supporting)

Roger Waters the Wall at MEN Arena

    Pendulum

    Proffesor Green (I know...)

    Zane Lowe DJ set

    1. Bring Me The Horizon - 2010
    2. Avenged Sevenfold/Stone Sour - 2010
    3. Slash -2011 (3 days ago!)
    4. Bullet For My Valentine - 2010
    5. Marilyn Manson - 2009

Wanted to go see Maiden, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi and Metallica but couldn't find anyone willing to pay the £40+ ticket price plus transport :(

Thanks for that although I'm not sure I know what stutter edit is ?

Is it anything like low end squelch theory ?

You can buy the Led Zep O2 concert on DVD now which is sadly the last time they will perform again as a band. Jason Bonham on drums was great but he is no Bonzo. The day Bonzo died Led Zep died. RIP 2 both.

Pink Floyd ? ya never know with them. If Gilmour and Waters can make up they may tour again.

    1. Foo Fighters Wembley - 2008 (Probably the best year of my life, 2 trips to Wembley in quick succession.
    2. Foo Fighters Milton Keynes Bowl July 2011 (Simply amazing day with decent support from Biffy Clyro and Death Cab for Cutie)
    3. Foo Fighter Sheffield Arena 2007
    4. The Prodigy - Doncaster Dome in the 90's (Never thought i'd see a better live act until I went to see the Foos)
    5. Kings of Leon - Hull Ice Arena (Pretty good live if not a little bland).

Biggest let down ever was Red Hot Chillis at Don Valley Sheffiled 2006, they'd begun their decline into every tune sounding the same.
