Nice one Norway - however your thread may not get the attention it deserves as there are very few posters on that board.

With that mighty list of clubs who you think could be in trouble I thought you were buidling up to a "promotion here we come" conclusion!!!! LOL and lots of smilies!

As for suggestions that Mr Yeung may be guilty of money laundering and that this practice could be rife in football ..... did I tell you about the time I saw Jack Petchey in the Watford FC cash office at half time of a game? ........ bearing in mind the cash used to get collected at 4:20, the cash office would be a good place to "borrow some reddies" at 4pm!!! LOL

I have no doubt whatsoever that these people don't buy into english football because they have always supported Birmingham, Blackburn etc etc. I have long held the belief that they're after other things ...... and Lord Ashcroft didn't buy into Watford because he liked the grass! But I've said all of that before, and I seem to have enough critics on here already.

Mind you I need to get into holiday mood and fast as we're off on Friday ........ mind you I will be taking a laptop with me!

I know for fact that at one club in the north of England, all of the ready cash taken at the gate was removed and put down to director's expenses. When questioned, the reply was that it was to cover the cost of the half time sandwiches.

 

Could we start a new group on here then? Maybe get a tee shirt even.

 

Now that IS a strange one. Did I tell you about a turnstile man at Barnet? Barnet were really short of people to do the turnstiles, this bloke heard of this and turned up one Saturday afternoon. He was asked "Have you done this before?" to which he replied "Yes" and was given a gate to do.

He took a few grand and then instead of walking TO the cash office, walked AWAY from the cash office ....... and he kept walking. It turns out he gave a false name and address.

That's not money laundering ....... I'd call it THEFT!

While sitting waiting for my computer to crash, which for some strange reason it hasn't done tonight, (wonder what I did?) I suddenly realised that it will soon be time for the prediction league. My weekly reminder that I know so very little.
