As i told you earlier, we don't have an inferiority complex, unlike yourselves.

If Spurs did somehow win it, it will only be because none of the usual suspects have turned up this season.

In fact, if they don't win it this season, they should be f**king embarrassed.

Their once in a lifetime chance and I bet the silly c*nts blow it. <laugh>

  4. More embarrassed than Arsenal or 'Pool? Or United?

  6. Ah, well, so we finish second. Some times that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Second is nowhere. It's a Champions League spot, but in terms of a Club with aspirations like Spurs, it's still nowhere.

Their best chance for the next 10 years and they will blow it.

  9. Well, I'd rather be nowhere in second than completely lost in 5th.

2nd....5th - unless you go on to win the champions league the following season, does it really matter?

This is likely to be Spurs' only realistic chance of winning the league in decades. All the big boys will be back next season and spurs will be back down fighting it out with their fellow medium sized clubs for Europa league spots.

If they bottle it this season, then they are even more of a joke club than I thought.

How can you bottle it if you ain't in the lead? We ain't been top all season.
    Only Leicester can bottle it.
If we fail to come in the top 4 then we could be accused of bottling it.
Its like West ham being accused of bottling getting a top 4 finish even though they ain't 4th.
As for 5th or 2nd...It makes a huge difference unfortunately. ..If we had regularly come 4th we wouldn't have lost players. If we come top 4 the chances of losing players drops dramatically...If we were to come 5th we would struggle to keep Lloris, Kane, Toby, Ali so 2nd, 3rd,4th or 5th makes a huge difference.
The logic re it being our best chance is probably true.. It also applies to west ham getting CL football.

  19. I am in something of a quandary, Twisted. Yes, on the one hand, I would love to see you finish below Stoke, in or around 8th spot, but I'd also love for United to be denied that 5th spot, to really rub in the salt on their humiliation, and I think that you are the only side that can do that, from all the sides around you and United, at the moment.

I feel dirty for saying this, but I want West Ham to finish 5th.

    not 4th ahead of Arsenal?

coming 4th each season would still have meant you losing your best players, Carrick and Berbatov would still have gone to United, Modric and Bale would still have gone to Real.
