Because new rules will replace old rules.

Who would set the rules? The football authorities or the government.

They would be negotiated and agreed just as they have been in the past.

So you think that EU players will still be allowed to play here without hitting a certain % of international games? But non-EU ones will still have to play a % of international games to get a work permit?

I don't see what you mean by 'it will be negotiated and agreed'?

It's far from being one of my biggest concerns about Brexit but it will definitely complicate things...

I would think that anyone that has come in under the odd rules would be ok to stay .It would be new players that would have to meet the new rules. The big problem is knowing that things could change would our owners bring in new players that might not be able to play ?

There wouldn't be that distinction for a start - they would all be non-UK players. I imagine that the FA & UK Visas would negotiate some sort of sponsorship rule - otherwise the government would lose a cash cow.

I know, that's what I was implying and why I asked him the question when he claimed nothing would change, as obviously it will...

The Brexit gamble is going to backfire spectacularly, unfortunately the people that will suffer the most are those that won't vote for it, just like the Tories getting in...

Obviously the majority will benefit as they did when the electorate chose the sensible Tories for another 5 years.

It's been proven by nearly every economist that the Tory policies have helped out a tiny fragment of the population.

    You know that too <doh>

To be fair after the crash the Torys layed out there way to get us out of it. And the rest of Europe told us it would not work then 3/4 years later they agreed that the uk was doing very well

IF we leave i am sure there will be less ease of signing foreign players... we already see that with non-EU players who are not at what the Govt says is a required standard. It may be that Europe becomes more popular and English league less.... But as we know..... money rules...

Oh and can we limit party politics stereotyping to another thread please ;)

We are ( or is it were ??) all friends here...

Apart from our national debt going up.

    Unemployment figures being twisted.

Taxes reduced so we won't be getting a surplus anytime soon.

    It's all looking great, no?
