Keep in mind FosseFiberto , the Spurs squad value is 6 times more than the Foxes and they pay more than twice as much on their wages . No wonder they have a sore paw as they look up the table at the Foxes . The Spurs finally get their nose ahead of the big clubs, only to be made a fool of by a thunder stealing smaller club ...frankly I'd be upset too .
No, the excuse will be along the lines of 'I am going to a club MORE likely to win <insert silverware here> ' . The massive increase in wages etc is just an incidental secondary thing (yeah, right) . The truth is that financially, nearly all PL clubs do not need to sell any of their key players. The issue is when a player wants to leave (for whatever reason) , and whether the desire was their own or due to industrial-scale unsettling.
That is why Leicester will not replicate this season (not unless they start paying the kinds of salaries that will encourage their best players to stay). This is why we all call Fossil "Bambi," because he naively believes that Leicester - a club that doesn't pay the kinds of money that even the likes of Spurs pay, let alone Arsenal, 'Pool, United, Chelsea or £ity - is going to keep its best players if another club comes along and offers to double or even treble their wages. Fcuk loyalty, you'd have to be a mug to turn that down!
A lot of clubs are spending a lot of money to get nowhere further than Leicester (18th in squad value , and first in the League table ) . This is why , if Leicester win the League , it will be the single biggest top flight achievement in the history of the league . If you were a manager , team and her fans ...would you want to go through history with a trophy like Ferguson , with all the money and unfair advantage on your side or achieve it walking over all the overspending , self egotistical teams and fans with very little advantage on your journey . I'm sorry , the arguement that fans from rich clubs have , laughing at the inability of small clubs to hold on to players as those small clubs are giving them a football lesson ...on and off the pitch , makes me laugh . You're opening a can of worms here roofy. HIAG has been pasted on another thread over this already where he claimed that Forest's title was a bigger achievement. It ended with him being forced to concede that at the start of the season you could have got the same odds on Elvis still being alive as you could Leicester winning the league. 5000/1 and that no footballing achievement has even come close. (When I say concede, HIAG just blathered on in denial whilst everybody else laid out the facts for him)
May be a great achievement. May make you laugh. Yet it doesn't change the reality If you are a lesser club and don't get into a virtuous circle of (relative) success, you face the risk of being asset-stripped by a bigger clubs and then continually stuck in the vicious circle.

I rather be in a circle of making money rather than wasting money , with basically nothing to show for it . What a team like Spurs have spent in the Premier with no results is almost criminal ...like Liverpool really . But hey , carry on , the small clubs will gladly take your money and in Leicester's case , a better possible outcome that The Spurs ever had . The difference with Leicester though is that they don't actually need to sell. They have a billionaire businessman owner who can, if they are champions, offer the sorts of contracts that the big boys are offering. I would imagine that most of the Leicester players will also want to play in the CL with Leicester, at least for one season.

We spend nothing really , one of the most proudest things I like about my club . That and making money off of big clubs ...and off the Spurs too
