I hate to say it but I agree 100%. I definitely dont fancy us in the play - offs this time, top 3 or I've got a horrible feeling we will miss out!
I think we will definately end top 7. Northampton will be champions. I dont think Oxford would drop out of top 3 looking at their fixtures. I think Plymouth have very tough games so will miss out on top 3 but will still make the play offs. It will be out of us and Accrington for 3rd. Both of us have a good set of games on paper. But I think Accrington will beat us to 3rd. If I am right then at least we avoid Accrington in the play offs who we seem to struggle to beat both home and away! I predict we will end 4th meaning we will face the team in 7th in the play offs. I think Plymouth will end 5th and will face Portsmouth in 6th in the play offs. If I am right then we avoid Portsmouth in the 2 legs which will be good as we struggled against them and dont fancy us in 2 legs with them. I would fancy our chances against Plymouth. Who will finish 7th? For me, its out of Wycombe, Orient, Carlisle or Wimbledon. I would be happy with that. Orient away will be tough so would be good if they miss out! Would be happy with Carlisle, we beat them at home and should have done better away. Would be happy with Wimbledon, we beat them at home and drew away. Would be happy with Wycombe, stuffed them twice at home already this season and should have won away! If I am right with facing Wimbledon. Wycombe or Carlisle then I believe we will make the final where I hope its Plymouth that we will be facing but the atmosphere vs Portsmouth at Wembley would be incredible and surely a sell out for Wembley would be a record for a league 2 play off final!
My guess... 1. Northampton 2. Oxford/Accrington 3. Oxford/Accrington --------------------------- 4. Rovers 5. Plymouth/Portsmouth 6. Plymouth/Portsmouth 7. Wycombe/Wimbledon/Carlisle/Orient
Accy have got a pretty good run in. They'll need to be injury and suspension free to be in with a shout of automatic promotion imo.
It gets a bit more difficult for Oxford. They have lost Lundstrum for the Final tomorrow and the next two League matches!!
Thats what I thought. He has missed 1 game already with suspension. Where you said he is missing the cup final and a further 2 league games, I was thinking thats 4 games! Was thinking if 4 games is correct, has he had other suspensions that has meant its a 4 game this time!
